Thanks for the offer Meghan. If I need a sitter you will be the first one I call. It is a fun car.
Gary,
if Mehgan gets to baby sit the car then you'll need me to baby sit Mehgan..

Souveran paste is bleached/refined ivory carnauba, derived from yellow grade #1 carnauba.

That sounds like it will work Joe but I want a free life's supply of Souveran Paste from Mehgan out of the deal.

It's not 100% percent No.1 Yellow is it? There's other "things" (I don't know, specifically) in the wax, correct? Again, I'm just curious.. :D

Oh.. why is that? Other companies supply that type of information...

Just curious.. thats all :D
Sorry, I don't really have the answer to that. My guess is that it's all about marketing. People believe that the higher the percentage of carnauba in the container the better the wax must be. I personally believe that there is more to it than this. Maybe someone will step in here and have some of the information that the original manufacturer (I believe his name is Terry) had written on this very subject. I've seen this topic discussed before.

carnauba wax comes in chip form ... at 100% it would be brittle and unusable. Most honest manufacturers claim you can use about 35-40% maximum and still be usable. The solvents used to break it down are flash solvents (they move off into the air) and why VOC regulations have come down on waxes particulary hard.

Marketing suggests that more is better, or offers better protection. Hogwash, no one really can truly prove it. Its ashame that 100% carnuaba really means its just a pure carnauba without cleaners. It really is not 100% carnauba. This is:
