Hi all. New to the forums. I've usually been content to run my cars through the local car wash or occasionally do a wash & wax myself with whatever was @ the local store.
Until...I came home with this a couple of weeks ago:
Since it's a rather special car, I wanted to learn a little more. It's a 1993 C4 Corvette. 43k original, one owner miles. It's in remarkable condition for being 19 years old. In reading over the forum for the last couple of days (I learned about the AG forum from the Corvette forum), I've realized that I have much to learn to bring the Corvette's paint back to its former glory.
Since I'm only about 70 miles north of AG's shop, I'll be signing up for the detailer's bootcamp so I can learn the proper techniques from a pro.
I'll probably remain an amateur content to take care of my own cars rather than go the pro or semi-pro route that many others that frequent this board pursue. However, I do want to be able to pursue professional level results for myself. Looking forward to learning more in the forums and at the class. Cheers!
