Spray Waxes out the gawwzoooo!

detailing would be rather boring without the many choices in detail sprays and spray waxes. Long live these great products !

Very good thread, had fun reading it. One question, can any of these Spray waxes be used as LSP? I mean, if there is no sealant or wax on the car, just a spray wax?

Personally, I tried this on my mom's truck and DG Aquawax lasted close to 2 months, but I like to put down a sealant for my lsp and maintain it with a spray wax every other wash.

I believe Optimum Car Wax advertises 5 months of protection, but 3 months is much more likely. Still, that's some serious protection for a spray wax!

Key words "Up to 5 months" so it could last only a month or two. IMO, OCW is the best spray wax on the market.

My two favorites are Duragloss Aquawax and Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant.

I agree that it is best to re-apply OCW at least once a month after your ONR Wash.

I do find I use far less DJ RM per application then other spray wax detailers. Initial outlay is dearer but price per application is not to bad. Having said that it's more expensive than my other detailers
