Spray Waxes

I even use spray waxes on my shower door/Windows, water and soup just slide off and help keep it cleaner and make squeegeeing a breezee!!!!!!

I shower with Spray Wax.....this is normal right?

I haven't used many spray waxes. Currently only stock D156.

This is why I like it:

I realize that, in this rat-race of a World we live in, a person is often pressed for time...
But attempting to eat soup in the shower would seem to be a self-defeating practice.

Haha I meant soap I should probably double check before I post things opps

OK, here is my confusion:

New car, applied Klasse sealant then Pinnacle carnauba. All good.

For quick detailing, is it OK to always use a QD/Waterless detailer or occasionally use a spray wax like OCW?

Right now, Im QDing with Pinnacle Crystal mist with great results. But wanted to try FK425 or UWW+ then OCW showed up on my radar but not sure when to use it as opposed to just a QD.

Using a rinseless QD is fine but since you've got KSG, when you make a gallon of your own QD, add 1 oz of KSG to the mix and you'll not only clean as you go but add some extra protection too.

You can mix the KSG with other products and it wont affect the others?

Everyone to their own but we specifically advise against the use of any hydrophobic coating in bathrooms. It does mean water runs off, as you say, but there is a much greater tendency for droplets and water spots. With a high frequency of use we have demonstrated that the resulting haze is much higher on such a treated surface as compared to an untreated one. The surfaces are also more difficult to clean.

Of course this isn't to mention that hydrophobic coatings are fogging coatings. That is that, contrary to anti-fog coatings, they actually promote fogging (so are worse than native surfaces). We actually had a customer applied a nano-sealant to a mirror, it fogged to a point it would start misting even when the toilet was flushed. What was worse, anti-fog coatings do not work on these surfaces. After attempting to abrasively polish away the coating, we ended up throwing out the mirror and starting again. Whilst that customer has now been banned from cleaning the bathroom (which is no doubt a good thing), the wife won't let him buy half as much detailing stuff because the mirror incident has convinced her that he hasn't a notion what he is spending money on!

Way off the meter and can't purchase in store or at AG FINAL DETAIL (INSTANT SPRAY WAX TOP SHELF) IMO UNDERRATED Had on FOX NEWS and at a car show a few years back If I recall correctly

I read an old thread a while ago about adding the 1 oz of KSG and ran with it and it finishes nicely and I've been using it ever since, all my QD's have KSG in it.

I know you guys wont believe me but I think Eagle One Nano Spray Wax is great I originaly bought for 3.50 to use on my work van , every time I use it Im amazed on how shiney my van comes out, and it beads water for at least 2 months. I know its cheap but it does a great job.

Meg's UQD CG V7 and
CarPro Reload a bit pricey but probably the best spray sealant on the market and works wonders on glass as well!

Eagle one is one of those brands that works great and no one talks about because its "OTC". Their wheel cleaner is one of the best on the market.

I have been using Blackfire spray wax lately on my customers cars and ...
Its amazing stuff for spray on wax..
Goes on easy,,,wait 10-15 mins and buff off
Excellent shine ...

BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Spray Wax, spray car wax, aerosol wax

I have a can... It works great but I would be cautious about how long you let it sit after spraying on. I left it on for probably 25min because my ADD owned me and when I made it back to wipe it off, there was so much dust that I heard Dave Chapelle knocking on the garage door

My favorite spray wax is Four Star ultimate spray wax plus. My favorite spray sealant is Dodo Juice tropical mist. I have used Pinnacle Souveran spray wax too, i like it too. OCW is very durable and it's the total package. Bottom line, spray waxes and sealant that are professional or high end boutique brands have really stepped their game up.:props:
