Starting the year with some American Muscle! 2013 ZL1 Polished & Coated

I love metallic red when it looks deep and vibrant!
Great job on making it look like a giant candy apple!! :dblthumb2:
Thanks!

Excellent job as always Zach, thanks for sharing!
:props:

Great job. Beautiful work on the carbon fiber ( and for that matter the whole car.) You really made that Camaro pop.

Walter
Thank you, Walter.

I'm actually really surprised for how new that car is, that the holograms and swirls were that bad. My 07' F150 work truck has a similar looking appearance to your before close-ups.
We've seen newer cars in even worse shape... unfortunately it doesn't take much to trash a car :(

I don't think I was working it enough... I usually would just go back to something else. I try to have plenty of variety on hand at once but this was one that I never even considered in my rotation of test products because it never gave me good results.

Thanks for the tip.
Sure thing!

Superb job, Zach.

Beautiful work!

Excellent work! That car came out fantastic! Looks great.
Thank you

That's what I'm saying. I thought other pads fall apart on the rupes so I was gonna go all HD pads. Apparently this isn't the case. If I can save some cash I'm all for trying other pads.
Sorry, I completely overlooked that in your original comment. Was reading too fast. We do use HD Orbital Pads sometimes, but in all honesty, I don't prefer them (maybe I'm just not used to them yet). Also, we have yet to ruin a foam pad on our Rupes machines... we use Rupes pads and LC Flat pads for the majority of the work. We have ruined some MF cutting pads, but those fail much easier on any kind of machine.

Impeccable work Zach! Nice to see a new post from you. Always enjoy them.
Thanks! I've been hibernating :)

Beautiful job Zach!

Awesome before and after shots , and what a difference . Beautiful work for sure ...

Nice job, Zach!

The paint on the carbon fiber insert is soft. Mars very easily.

Great work Zach, I just used HD Adapt on a Grabber Blue Mustang with the Rupes 15 and Rupes Green pads. I was doing the same process as you and having phenomenal results.

Great looking car and a great one to kick off your season.

Very Beautiful Work and Share, great job on test spot video too! (I could be staring all day long).

Congrats,

Kind Regards.

Thanks for the answer! I assume you used 6.5 flat pads on the 21? Im looking for order a 21 and some pads for it.

Nope, we use 5.5" pads on the LHR21 for the most part.

Would you say ordering 3 whites 2 blacks and an orange is a good supply to start with? or 2 of each? Im gonna get the 6pk and its reasonably priced.

thanks again

It depends on the condition of paint you're going to be dealing with. We use orange and white pads most often. Rarely use black anymore as I personally prefer other finishing pads.
