Stoner Wheel Cleaner

Description:
Stoner Wheel Cleaner is an acid-free, foaming wheel cleaner that blasts brake dust and other tire wheel contaminants without the use of dangerous solvents.
The thick foam envelopes the baked on crud and released it when agitated with a brush.
Perfectly safe for use on all wheel surfaces, Stoner Wheel Cleaner gives a gentle clean with incredible results.

Direction:
Simply spray Stoner Wheel Cleaner directly on the wheel’s surface, and allow the foam to dwell for about 30 seconds.
You’ll notice the formula start to turn brown as the embedded dirt and contaminants are removed from the surface.
For stubborn areas, use a wheel brush to agitate. Rinse the wheel thoroughly with a strong stream of water when finished.
To avoid water spots, dry the wheel with a clean microfiber towel after rinsing.

Before shots.
Wheels hasn't been cleaned for very longgggg time and dirts built up was extremely bad, as you can see in the pic.

Wash
This wheel cleaner is gel-type, foamy, and in description it says color will turn brown, but personally did not see any color changes.
Foam stayed on wheels without running down for long time. It cleaned wheels very well, along with tires.

This product also does not have strong odor that is plus.

I did Iron X test after wash to see how well Stoner Wheel Cleaner did in terms of brake dust removal.
Btw I forgot to take a photo after wash wheel by itself but you can see how well it came out behind Iron X bottle.

Conclusion:
For $6.99 /16oz bottle, this wheel cleaner is well worth the money.
Sticky foam stays on wheels very well, brakes dirt, clean wheels and tires hassle free.
It doesn't have extremely color changes that most wheel cleaners do, but result speaks for itself.

For the money, I think this product is well worth the money,
and definitely would buy it again!.

Nice review!!!

I bought a few bottles of stoners wheel cleaner and love it!!! The gel clings better than any wheel cleaner I've ever used. Safe for all types of wheels and cleans tires too. Foams which is a huge plus. Great product!!

Thanks for the review! Will definitely have to check this product out. Thanks again!

Thank you all for the respond.

Yes product clings on the wheels very well and I did not have to use much product,
perhaps I can wash 1 or 2 more cars with this compare to using other brand wheel cleaners before I run out of them.

Did not expect such a result from $6.99 wheel cleaner.

Thanks for the review.....looks like a good value at 6.99/bottle

Thanks for taking the time to
review this Stoner's product. :props:

I find every one of their products
I've used to be of high quality; and
they always perform as advertised.

Will have to give their wheel
cleaner a go 'round.

Thank you. The new wheel cleaner on the block. Looks like a good product!

I don't think it will remove heavy BAKED on brake dust, but it's safe for all wheels, clings VERY well, foams nicely, cleans wheels good and even tires. Can't beat that for $6.99

There's a good amount of non iron removing wheel cleaners out there that can probably clean as well, BUT, are they safe for polished aluminum wheels like Stoners? Do they cling as well? I can name a few popular ones that wouldn't work: Mothers Foaming Wheel Cleaner, Meguiars Non Acid Wheel Cleaner, Eagle 1 A-Z...

Oh boy, this Mazda has serious brake dust issue. Actually, reminds me my front wheels on my sGT, but again I clean them once a month with just RW and after this review I might try Stoner. Thank you for your review.

Wheels hasn't been cleaned least for 3 months FYI.

and for how long its been sitting like that and how dirty it was, Stoner wheel cleaner did amazing job.

it just seems like.... Im always cleaning other people's car and when it comes to my own.... im tired xD

When it comes to non color changing wheel cleaner, I am worried that it might not remove embedded brake dust well enough, but iron x shows that it cleaned very well.

I am considering this to be my go to wheel cleaner from now on.

Nice review. I have been a long time user of Stoner's products and they are always solid. Wonder if they will sell in gallon jugs.

That is my only wish with this product!!

Nice review.

It looks like the product works great and the wheels look very nice. Thanks for doing it.

But for $6.99 I can't buy it. "Acid free" means high pH APC based wheel cleaner. I just used some CG's Sticky Wheel Cleaner on wheels that have not been cleaned in 6 mos and they came out just as good (foaming sprayer).

Sticky Wheel Cleaner prolly works no better (or no worse for that matter) than this product, but it dilutes 1:5, so you get 6 gallons for the cost of 1.

$40/6 gallons = ~ $6.75 for a GALLON!

....That's 48 bottles of Stoner Wheel Cleaner (6 gallons)...

48 bottles of Stoner Wheel Cleaner would cost $336; compared to around $40 to make the same volume of Sticky Wheel Cleaner.

That's like flushing almost $300 down the toilet over the course of a few years.

Not to mention most peeps mix wheel cleaners in 32oz bottles, so each mixed bottle would last 2x as long before you needed to reach for more.

I bough a gallon of Sticky in like 2012 and I'm only about 1/2 way through it.

... And, I did a similar test on these 6 month neglected wheels with Dub Wheel Cleaner (Iron X like) and got the same results.

If you buy RTU high pH wheel cleaners, APCs, waterless washes, etc... you just are wasting a ton of money if you plan on detailing your car(s) for multiple years. If you are a pro it's a no brainer.

Just something for y'all to think about.

I've used sticky gel, and Stoners wheel cleaner is a much thicker gel, clings much better, foams better, and is advertised as safe for ALL wheels. It presents a very nice user experience. Is sticky gel advertised as being safe on all wheels? I have a polished aluminum lip on my wheels, so I can't use just any product.

On the flip side, I totally understand what you're saying. Makes all the sense in the world. It comes down to each individual preference, or budget.

Just tried Stoners for the first time today. Have been looking for a wheel cleaner that can handle the 'average' dirty rim (Griots Heavy Duty is what I use for the bad ones). The label says it can be used on tires as well, so I figured this would be a good test. The subject vehicle is my 2013 Tundra, so the wheels were not too bad. I have to say, at 6.99 at bottle, this stuff worked really well....much better than CG Diablo. From this point on, this will be my 'go to' wheel cleaner.
