Today I was looking at the new bottle of 105 I just got from AG and lasts years bottle...lasts years was a pinkish purple color ...the new one is a tan color....not that its bad...I was just wondering if they changed any thing...if you have DG 105 look to see what color the 105 is....reason I looked was I was sending some to TexasTB to try out....

Thanks...

Kinda like PwS. I have a sample white with blue dots, and a bottle of PwS orange. Smell different too. Maybe they just use plain white, then add some Kool Aid in it for flavor and color...:D

Mine is like a year old and it is is pinkish purple color. Does your new one smell the same as the older one? Mine smells kind of like grape.

yes..it has a grape like smell,,but its tan....strange.....I may call

Ok..I did call...what happened was the place that made the coloring had problems..so they decided to just leave it the tannish color....boy them guys can talk....I got more edumacted this time on some products....so all is well with the tan 105...

PwS = Poorboy's Polish with Sealant, not DG 105. Mine DG is kinda tan/kinda pinky...Too much Kool Aid in there...

Please do share..you are the guru of DG. The next time I'm in Detroit, I'm picking some up..they don't sell it in Windsor..bummer.

I think Al is holding out.... We might just have to hold his feet to the fire. I am sure he will share as soon as he is done with his own R & D.

Now..If I tell you guys..I may have to kill you after...first off ..it's not about new stuff coming out....but about some existing products that are over looked...

Ok...I am done here..I was doing a starter for the ATV..I finished the carb early today...

OK here is the scoop...I was very curious about the Marine products for use on cars....I asked them before about them and I got yes they can be used on cars..but no real specifics...

Today I got the low down.....

the 501 polish...was told it is best cleaner/polish they make...stronger than 101...it has more cleaner in it but also more sealant than 101... is very slick to repel oil and algae ..will make a great base for 105 or 111...also close to the durability of 105....plus micro abrasives like 101 to burnish a high gloss..

the Marine Shampoo....good for cars also..it has a bit more cleaner in the soap...but also more polymers....will not remove any sealants...has a high gloss also...

the Marine protectant...I just got some of this...it is detergent resistant...has water repellent in it...and a sunscreen to prevent fading ..can be used on trim..interiors....tires...rubber trim....said it lasts a long time....will not wash off

the Marine Detailer...this one sounded nice..it is a cleaner..and a sealant ..it is very slick to retard mildew and mold growth...anti static...highly water repellent...lasts on a average of 3-4 weeks...and again detergent resistant..would be nice for the in between AW uses...I forgot this..can be used like a waterless wash...sorta like PB's S&W

All in all I was told the Marine line is a little more potent than the auto line due to the conditions boats endure...they all have extra UV protectors also...

so my next order is the Detailer to try out and the 501 marine polish as a AIO

if 501 is stronger than 101 as a cleaner and more protection..that's more bang for the buck...

no new stuff coming...just fiddling on improving what they have now
