 Well if that was your method I assume you have a couple kids? LOL J/K

Man, I gotta say it really sucks that ARO is banned in your area! Greeat stuff. :poke:

I've heard good things about Bleach White and that Eagle One is alright I guess, not a big fan of the stuff. Megs APC+ ~6:1 and a stiff tire brush, to clean my tires every couple washes. Otherwise just a softer wheel brush with wash shampoo and dried w/ old MF or cotton towel, followed by Opti-bond which is my favorite right now. Not too far from what your doing I'm sure. I doubt YOU let your tires get dirty enough to need more than that. Do you really need to clean every trace of Opti-Bond before re-applying?

Probably :D

I bought Four Star Ultimate Tire Cleaner Gel and it does a great job.

After washing the tire I can def tell it has removed the old dressing and looks clean.

I've used it about 4 times and still a good amount left, but I'm sure the others suggested might be a better value.

You can but on tires don't think you need to. And it's strong
I applied Purple Power to my tires once a long time ago and some got on my factory painted Buick rims and it instantly ate into the clear. Strong is an understatement.

Wesley Bleach does a good job on tires, just be careful around polished aluminum wheels.

Thanks. Do you need to dilute it?

Nope, not for wheels and tires. Fill up a spray bottle and soak the area down then scrub away. If it's exceptionally dirty then a second application might be in order.

Hmmm, I'm wondering if it was factory paint?

I've been using this stuff for 15 years or more and have never seen it harm any of my factory clear or painted wheels.

I use purple power on my wheels and tires have not had a problem but I do dilute it some don't need to use full strength.

is the Westleys safe to get on wheels? I use EO A2Z and it not only gets that brown stuff off the tires on contact but on brake dust a spray to the wheel, and my pressure washer and scrubbing is only needed where I didn't manage to get the cleaner..its always worked great for me, but 7 bucks a bottle and I could use it in a few times of washing my car.

Really? Using PP at full strength will be safe on all wheels and tires?

That is probably the worst product you could have purchased. Are you aware of the amount of pre cautions someobdy must take when using this product? Do you know how easily it can roll off your tires and damage your wheels?

Why didnt you just use soap, water, a stiff brush, maybe a little APC, and some passion?

I do not think you are letting the APC dwell long enough and I dont think you are scrubbing the tire with soap and water and creating slurry suds on the tire, since that would have removed it.

I think its a little odd that you started a three page thread asking for a suggestion and you ended up just grabbing Westleys.

No, it is not safe on wheels.
