We are just glad when the Family can just get together!
Sounds like our house Tim.
Actually we just found out yesterday that Christmas will be at our house this year. We've always gone to Nana's on Christmas Eve, ever since we were dating actually. My Father in law worked for the railroad and was always "on call" Christmas day so their tradition was Christmas eve when they were growing up.
That stuck, and made it easier actually as come Christmas day we could go to my folks. That was until the kids were born (took 10 years for the first one). Then we still did Nana's, then did our thing at the house early and went to Mom's for supper.
This year Nana is COMING HERE!

And the wife's brother and his family are flying in from Yorba Linda. It'll be nice to have a place big enough for us all not to be on top of one another. I know the kids (even though mine are grown, and his youngest is 17) will surely like hanging out in the game room rather than Nana's den. :dblthumb2:
I'll be really great for Nana and Papa to get out of the house too. Not too many more years with them, so taking the stress of of her with all the cooking is AWESOME. We'll start cooking Tuesday morning and cook all freaking day.

Love the smell of tons of Holiday food and that 'feeling' you get when you breeze through the kitchen when it's all a flutter. Plus.... I've got a new son in law this year!

Gotta' break that boy in RIGHT!!! :bat:
RE: POTS AND PANS
I asked my wife what she wanted, she said "Take me someplace I haven't been in a long time." I said "How about the kitchen?"
Ohhhhhhhh that's cold dude!
Me see's you on a diet, vwee-vwee soon.
I got my wife and I into a house and finally moving out of our apartment. Tried to keep it a surprise for her, but eventually she asked me and I had to be honest. She squealed with excitement. Unfortunately we've had to put Christmas on hold with all of the packing / moving going on. My wife did surprise me with a CG pad washer (best gift ever!). Not able to get her anything to open under the tree, but in all honesty.... A house, a garage, a yard, and her favorite... A fireplace! should make up for it
That wasn't you moving in next door yesterday and today was it? (New neighbors.)
