I'm using up the last of my WFG Uber in QD dilution for my QD/drying aid. And while it does add a bit of slickness to the paint and great gloss, I'm curious if there is anything else that might offer a little bit more of both? I've used Megs UQW before, which I know is D156, and while this too is good stuff I don't remember being blown away by a high slick feel.

I really like that "freshly waxed" super slick feeling and I'd like to continue to feel that as I'm drying off the car after a maintenance wash.

Something that works well when applied to wet paint and sun friendly. Any recommendations?

Poorboy's World Spray and Gloss is pretty good. Slick and very sun friendly. Plus, you can order a 4oz "sample" size to play with, so you don't have to commit to a larger size.

Their QD+ is also a nice one, and I believe that one has a hint of carnauba in it. I forget which one is more slick, though.

I love love love Optimum Detail Spray and Gloss Enhancer. Very slick, and does a great job!

Visitor was kind enough to send me some Griot's Best of Show QD. I'm hooked.

I am really amazed by its ease of use (no streaking, easy wipe-off) and the incredible shine/slickness it leaves.

Smells great too.

Griots Speed Shine or Megs X-Press Spray Wax...to great products at very reasonable pricing.

Nice! 4oz samples? That's awesome.

I emailed PBW and they responded to say Spray & Gloss would better suit me because QD+ should be sprayed on a dry panel because it contains carnauba.:props:

Meguiar's Shine-As-You-Dry Quik Wax.

Cool. Had no idea they had this under their consumer line. But then again I don't pay attention to their "maroon" bottle line. Do you know if this is just a D156 blend?

It IS awesome.

Glad you reached out to them. I was going over my notes the other day to remind myself of when to use those two products. :)
Too many things, I have. :(

Does it streak on glass? That's why I really like Uber Rinseless since I just tried it last weekend. Doesn't streak on glass, even when the sun is straight up and the ambient temperature is high.

If you can get beyond the smell of vinegar, you may want to try McKee's 37 High Gloss Detail Spray. It's a "heavy" product and a little goes a long way. Their Trademark Extender Spray Wax is great too. The old BlackFire spray wax worked very well and I assume when they changed the labels that their spray wax stayed the same or got better. All three recommendations are in regard to leaving your paintwork feeling slick and smooth.

Pinnacle Waterless Wash (I think at 1:32 or at 1:48) leaves the paint feeling "soft" if you can imagine such a thing. A couple years ago I did some testing on what sort of spray-on product leaves paint feeling better and at the time BlackFire and Pinnacle were at the top. There's another one I'm trying to remember that really surprised me, but I can't think of it right now.

All of these recommendations come from testing on dry panels, so I can't comment on their use as a drying aid. If you want to reduce marring when drying you should look into N-914 at 1:128 and then after the paint is free of water you can apply a quick detailer or spray wax.

Thanks. I'm actually not concerned with marring. I was more looking to save a step and figured I could give the paint some pop, a little bit of sacrificial protection and wipe up any water marks while drying the vehicle all in one in shot.
