First off sorry for the poor pic quality, forgot my DSLR memory card when I set out to do this one.......Friend/co-worker recently had a whipple blower installed on his new SS 1LE, he just got the car back a few days ago and wanted attend a local event but wanted to get the car looking like it now performs. Couldn't start till Fri evening after I got off my day job, and the event was Sat mornIng. Since this was a last minute job I had to come up with a strategy with what I had on the shelves, Menzerna 3 in 1 ended up being my polish of choice. Owner will eventually be coming back to get the car coated so I'll do a proper write up then.

Decon
CG Citrus Wash
Cobra Clay Mitt
D114 Clay Lube
GG Iron and Fallout Remover (paint and wheels)

Correction/LSP
Menzerna 3 in 1
LC Force Orange (rear bumper/roof)
LC MF Cutting pads (most panels)

Wheel/Tires
Opti-Seal on wheel faces and barrels
McKees 37 Tire Coating




The good stuff!!!


Horrific amount of brake dust


Main reason owner enlisted my services ....had some on defects that came in the paint from the showroom...


50/50 rear quarter near the defects...again sorry for pic quality


Next morning prior to event


Rear quarter panel, defects gone!!


Much better and owner was pleased!!

What tools (polisher machine) are you using for the job?

Wow! Great job, I didn't know that menzerna 3 in 1 can give these kind of reflections. Do you know if it can be topped with powerlock?

Thanks!! Rupes 21 with stock backing plate and PC 7424 with 3" backing plate...

Thanks!! Yeah, it really finished down well. I have never personally topped it with Powerlock, I have heard of one or two folks doing so without any issues.....

1LE option is great because it only comes with 3 pedals==========

No doubt...that monster put down 586hp/572tq to the wheels (not sure if that was corrected though)......still has some growing room to, headers,exhaust and adjusting tune accordingly.....now he needs more tire!!!
