Swirled out Solstice

Working on him... GG discussion is coming soon.

lol, I've been biding my time a bit, watching to see how the Colly holds up..

Still a bit of a debate on if the ultimate polish will "wash off" revealing swirls beneath. We'll see, I'll be the one washing it.

Baby steps, can't expect him to accept change too quickly.
Do you have doubts the Collinite will 'wash off'?

Nope, not at all! Lol

I'm just not gonna let him wash it with a dirty wash mitt then say "see, look at all those swirls.. They came right back!"

So......... did it sell yet?!?!

lol, no. :(

I don't expect that rear wheel drive convertible to move until spring... Ya never know though, I spoke to a kid yesterday who coulda almost paid for it with their tax return! But she needed 8 passenger seating.

mark up another user with a few roots in the area.
ahhh... memories of going around the hard right hand 90 deg turn at the stop light before the sweeper left next to the cemetery.

would like to be near rolla next weekend for the 100 acre rally, but things didnt go as planned.

was through there last summer to visit a few friends around the capital before heading south through houston on the way to arkansas.

i wish the roads and trees were in oklahoma!

good looking work on the solstice!

Just walked past the detail bay and what do I see being scrubbed down? Yup, my lil Solstice that I've been secretly washing for the last few weeks!

Sure enough, the detailer pulls it out and parks it back on the lot and now there's minor swirls and scratches all over it. :face_palm: I betcha if I went back there and confronted him about this he'd simply say "Toldja it'd wash off..."

I give up on these guys, I'll just change gears and start selling my more discerning customers on paying me to fix these DISOs when they do comment on them.

Meanwhile you'd think the manager (who just received the bulk of my ire regarding this occurrence) would see the evidence and simply replace the current method (one bucket, one old mitt) with a new method (two buckets, grit guards and microfiber wash mitts), for no more than it costs.

I'm sure you all saw this coming. I suppose I should have too.

Can he not see the swirls? Is he oblivious or ignorant? I don't get it.

I dunno... I dunno.. :SMH:

That's too bad. Corporate culture can be really hard to change. Did you actually tell the manager that you had been secretly washing the car?
Yup, I presented him a packet of evidence via email. Hopefully he'll see the light...

iSad :(

That's really sad.......someone has said, ya can't fix stupid!
I'm sure everyone was hoping it would sell before Magilla washed it!

Wait if you have been washing it....was it even dirty for him to justify washing?
