I tried a cap full of Megs Gold Class in a 32 oz sprayer and that seemed to work fine. It seemed like the clay tended to be a little tackier, but that was partially remedied by keeping my hands wet with the soap/water mixture.
I'm open to other cost effective suggestions for clay lube.
If you find that the clay is tending to stick or hang up while claying then more lubrication is needed. If you feel you have plenty of liquid on the surface but the clay isn't sliding effortlessly then try using 2 cap fulls of liquid Gold Class in 32 ounces of water. My formula mixes 1 ounce of liquid soap in 32 ounces of water.
