Tar!

What are you guys using for tar removal? I'm using DP exterior cleaner and a lot of elbow grease. I was hoping to maybe get some input on what works best for you guys.

I use either Stoner's Tarminator or Meguiar's Body Solvent

just did a professional asphalt pavers truck and he said he only will use 3 m adhesive remover to do the job. none of my apc did anything. ps this was the worst vehicle i have ever detailed but we traded 3 details for my entire driveway resealed.

Tarminator works great for me. Just let it break down the tar for about a minute and it wipes off easily.

Acetone, mineral spirits, or Duplicolor Wax & Grease remover, I've also heard you can use diesel.

There's quite a few things that will remove tar. Pretty much any body prep product will work most the time. Just don't use something like thinner.

depending on how long the tar has been on the car i use mineral spirits. Tarminator if the tar is somewhat new. just remember to put a LSP back on after.
