Yep... I agree with the rest. Most important of them all is that the paint, unless it's JUST BEEN POLISHED I'd never put a coating on. Behind that, the whole premise of "UK" is that you can put it on when/where it's wet, cold, and damp. Working in the 80's~90's is just too far out of spec for that product.
As for the suede cloth, whatever you do, DO NOT get caught up in buying the silly little 4" cloths
$1.29 each! Instead, buy the 16" cloths in a 10 pack for $19.99, which will make ONE HUNDRED SIXTY 4" cloths for only pennies each, (actually 12.4¢ each).
Using both sides isn't a problem at all. I'll use from 2~4 cloths doing a vehicle, and always use both sides.
As for easy to work products. That list isn't all that short, including Pinnacle, DP, Blackfire, Optimum, (regular) cQuartz, GTechnic all of which AG sells.
The key, no matter WHAT coating you use is to work CRITICALLY, even surgically clean. Buff with something like Menz 4000, or Megs 205, or even Megs UP and have it 'clean' the surface. Then use Eraser, or something similar (
I've been using a D114 with up to 30% alcohol mix for over a year now).
As for how long you need to leave the current product on before buffing. You can buff to remove it immediately if that's what you want/need.
