Tesla Freighted from Washington to Arizona for Detail & CQuartz Finest

Wills, you and your sister do incredible work (as always). The part of the story that got me excited was the fact that it was transported to you directly.... now that is a story you don't hear every day. Maybe someday I will have the honor to be part of this very select group :)

Great story. I am just a novice but enjoyed the journey. Felt like being there for the whole detail. Look forward to seeing more.

Looks awesome, even more awesome is getting a truck delivered car to work on. Now on to my real question, what size is your canopy? I am in the market, I found two and want to get what will work best!

Lol, to answer your real question...that canopy measures 10'x20'. We got it from harbor freight tools...look online and you should easily be able to find a 25% off coupon which makes it very affordable. There are also side curtain options you can purchase which do come in handy :)

Beautiful work guys! That Tesla looks great!

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for looking and commenting, glad you enjoyed it!

Hi Wills (& Dani)...

What an excellent example of your detailing-artisanship!!
You guys have really made me so proud...

I don't know who looks better:
That fine auto...or me! :dunno:

As always:
Your Friend,

Nikola "Bob" Tesla

Comedian as always Bob! Thanks for looking and glad we can still impress you after all these details lol

Beautiful work :dblthumb2:

Thank you much :dblthumb2:

Thank you so much. And yes that was what made this car so "write up worthy", was the fact it was shipped to us in such a crazy fashion! It was a totally new experience for me and while i know there are guys out there that have this happen weekly, to us it was our first time....hopefully one day we'll have a shop and have all the cars on the freighter being dropped with us :)

Trust me 4 years ago i never expected to be doing work like this or receiving cars like this in this type of way, never know where life will take you...thats for sure :)

You guys always do a nice lay-out of the process. Nice work!

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :xyxthumbs:

:wow:

What a fantastic writeup!! :props:

Having a car freighted to you says something. I can imagine the excitement as the drawbridge was lowered!

I enjoyed reading and seeing the step by step approach you used and having the two of you performing the work makes a job a lot more enjoyable.

The Tesla is a beautiful car and now it's perfect!! :dblthumb2:

Congratulations.........

Thanks for the info on the canopy!! I always forget about their 25% off!

Great...funny how a brand new car (not just any but Tesla) can look better than a new car

For sure, the word "new" is all relative :)

There is always a little bit of pressure when someone brings you their BRAND NEW car and says...here, make it look better.
But so far we have yet to disappoint....its always great to have an owner tell you "Wow, this really does look better than new!"

It feels good and it's what we push for with every job.

Good point.

It's easy to take a neglected car and do a dramatic before and after.... it's a lot tougher to take something in really nice condition and take it to a higher level.

.....note that its a little bit more than a "little bit" of pressure when someone FREIGHTS you in their new TESLA from out of state...just saying lol

Having someone ship you their car from 4 states away and I'll guess around 1500 miles is a testimony to your hard work, professionalism and reputation.

Nice work! So glad to see you're not using Photobucket to host your pictures.

Will & Dani, great work. I think it's major cool that brother and sister work together to do detailing magic. A couple of questions.

What polish did you use?
Did you clay after using Iron - X?

Thanks Mike :). And yeah the guy who did my website advised me to use my own website to host the photos, that way if anyone chooses to click on them, it takes them there...suppose to help with the SEO :xyxthumbs:

Thank you! For polish we used Megs 205 and yes we always clay after iron x on any type of polishing job. Iron X does do an awesome job at really narrowing down how much we actually have to clay though, which is very helpful. Its a bit tricky to use in Az during the summer since it dries so quickly but, its worth it in the end!
