So I got my winter upgrades done in the Camaro. And go figure the tracks are closed with everything going on. So off to Mexico we go!

Last year the car did ok running 10.5@129 blowing through the converter bad.

So out comes the TH350 trans and FTI 4400 stall converter. And in goes a fresh TH400 with billet valve body, pro trans brake and a new Yank Pro Eliminator 3400 converter.

Went out and a made a couple hits

The car left ok but the front shocks were too loose.

So some suspension adjustments were made. Tightened up the front shocks a ton and changed the rear lower control arm angle. Adjusted air pressure and tried again. Much much better!

Why did you drop the stall speed from 4400 to 3400? Also, did you swap in the TH350 first gear ratio into the TH400?

Yank recommended this converter as the 4400 wasnt good when I hit it with a 250 shot lol. It was way too loose. The Yank 3400 is perfect. If I wasn't spraying then the FTI would have been ok.

And I figured if the th350 was coming out then I may as well go with a stronger trans setup.

Oh yeah, the spray doesn't need a converter that loose but a popular mod is to have the first gear from the TH350 and put into the TH400 because it's a lower ratio, ofcourse you need a TH400 for your car, no doubt about it!

Sure looks fast and fun!

I'm also a Turbo 400 fan, when they are built-up right, they are as close to indestructible as you can get.

Of course, with enough punishment, everything's going to give sooner or later.

There use to be a forum member on here or MOL, I don't remember. He worked for some kind of "Testing Company. I do remember his Signature Line though,

You make it- we break it - guaranteed!

Definitely a hand full. lol. Took forever to get it where I wanted it, garage build. K24/K20. S362 BW. 22psi. E85. Built/upgraded about everything. Aroun 2575lbs, ~550ish whp.

I'm sure he could drive it on the street but that set up looks to be more of a 1320 car actually

It sees the street sometimes...only sunny days. Cant run full boost till 4th gear though. Thats the part that sucks. Im ordering some r888r to try out for the street.

I figure anything riding around on the streets that traps over 120+, can hold its own against most cars.

Exactly, humbling MANY cars with 2 to 3x's the litres

Awesome! Nothing like wrenching on your own ride and saying you built this or that, and the pride of ownership that comes with it. What’s the import scene like in SC?

That’s just a jogging pace for the S362, wonder what high boost numbers would be haha. Any idea on the torque? 400 range?

Not just the cars, the owners that spent a quarter million on said car and can’t even drive it properly..

Nice Justin, glad you're not blowing through the convertor now! Car loves the juice!!!

That converter is a 10", right

The (gear) whine of a Muncie M22 is music to my ears ...
