That "other" site is down...

Smaller boards will have a more community like feel. Not that I wish it, but this one (although I don't post, I just absorb) *may* lose a little of that feel as it gets larger and larger. As it continues to mature some of those same questions that aren't dumb (and still won't be) might begin to wear upon senior members...

I've been a part of a lot of boards from their humble beginnings, and there is always a maturation process.. kind of a message board life cycle. That other board is perhaps still in its growth phase, but not as fast as this one. Let's all remember this as this board grows and continue to keep the community feel.

Very true but we all have to remember that each on of us was a "noob" at one time. I can't stand it when a new member has a question and all they get is the comment, "Use the search function." instead of taking 4 secs and linking it or answering. Sometimes searching is tough, especially if you are not used to a forum too. I'd hate to loose a new member because of this. Sometime me as well as others just need to step back, take a breath, and do the right thing. Anyone can seem big and bad on a forum; it seems like being nice is the toughest part.

, IF we get a chatroom it will help us just "hang out" if we want and make things more friendly. This place is a fun place to be and I hope it stays like this.
abrcrombe maybe you can whisper in someones ear and see how where looking on a new chat room ;)

The Admins and Mods are good here. They will not let this place go down the crapper. Sure it will grow and expand alot, but the trolls and posers will be weeded out.
The AG staff does excellent work to keep this place like it is, and I for one, know they won't put up with BS........They will let Florida Native loose on them....once she gets her magical powers....lol

I have been on this site as a guest. I noticed everyone helps each other out. People give their experiences with different products. There is no bashing....which is a BIG plus. There is alot of info to be had by all.

I still have to make my first order with AG, but I plan on it soon. Working 60-70 hour weeks will take its toll, including weekends.

Thanks
Ken
