The 370Z is gone!!

Thanks everyone! :D The 2013's got an 8 horsepower bump!  They're 420 HP now.

Nice!! Congrats Mark!! I really like the new Mustangs. Can't wait to see it all prepped and polished.

Smart move

The 370 is a great looking car, but its still a rice burner no matter how you slice it

Ford mustangs have a crap clear coat.

Would definitely apply a coating.

Both cars are stunning....and fast, surely the Stang is a bit quicker and that new 5.0 does sound AWESOME! Looking forward to the pics and your upcoming mod list.....may I suggest those black tailights that light up in the outline, those look really good, especially with the panel between the tails in black too!

Mark, just curious was the HP the only reason you traded? What did you think about the Z otherwise?

Welcome back to AMERICAN MUSCLE! I'm a huge Camaro fan, but like the Mustang as well. Enjoy that new ride buddy!

Nope, that's not the only reason. The car had a very noticeable gear/tranny whine(dealer said it was normal). Borderline embarrassing when driving through a parking garage. Didn't really notice it on the test drive. Also, the transmission is the most jerky/clunky tranny I've ever driven! I thought I would just have to learn how to use the clutch. Not the case.

On the flip side, I think the 370Z looks great, nice interior, and handles very well!!

Life is too short to drive the same car or drive one you don't enjoy. CONGRATS.

Congrats on the new ride Mark! Can't wait to see the pics! :dblthumb2: :Picture:

Welp....looks like another forum name change is in the near future. Lol congrats on the purchas man!!! Can't wait to see the pics!

Congrats. I don't think I will ever give up my classic Z car. I am true to Nissan but appreciate all other makes...

I got the base model. The only option on the car is the security package(good alarm and back-up sensor). I did not want leather. All it does is crack. If I had a beemer, I'd get leather. I almost went with the brembo package(nicer wheels/brakes), but didn't want add anything to the loan that I can change in the future.

All of you are so awesome!! I will post pics.

Nice, the article in C&D last month had some good praise for the 2013s (think it may have been more directly aimed at the Shelby GT500 version).

I really like what Ford has done with reviving the old style, and newest versions look great.

But yea, you really need an un-referenced username, lol.

Nice ride Mark!

Nice looking car. Drives nice as long as you keep it on a straight line. More of a 60's drag racer. Not a car for real twisty roads. Unless you need a four seater, I would have gone for a Boxster.

In any event best of luck with you new car ( it is much better than a Chevy )

Congrats Mark! I have noticed a few of the new Mustangs lately. I love the LED's twin strips around the headlights and the alternating flashing rear tail lights. Very cool indeed. Looking forward to seeing you post pics.

Same here, I can appreciate all makes of cars but I really loved 1974 260Z that I had just a few years ago. I used to drive it back and forth to Meguiar's from Apple Valley, California, about 100 miles one way.

I used to have one of those...
