I really haven't been impressed with many Cobra MF's, but this one is SUPERB!! I've recently been using pakshak ultra plush(which are still nice), but the cobra light blues are awesome! VERY soft, plush, and very absorbent. I initially just used them for drying the car along with a drying aid. Works great! A couple days ago, the pakshaks just felt a little grabby when I was removing polish and after Griot's pre wax cleaner wipedowns. So, I decided to try the cobra light blues, and..........they were so smooth! I didn't feel like I was marring the paint. Both the long nap and short nap sides work great. No lint to speak of! I will use these towels for everything I use on paint.

I have six of them sitting on a shelf. I don't care for mf that are very light weight. When you go to wipe stubborn product they are so light they just fold under themselves. I prefer "heavy" mf towels in terms of weight/density for removing ptoduct. I love the CG monster blues. I can wipe safely without the towel collapsing or folding under itself or my hand slipping off them. These are ok for final wipe where you dont have to remove any product. Mf towels are one of those things that are a personal preference and these are not something I'll buy again.

Mark,

Great information! :props:

Are these new on the detailing scene or just a product that you haven't tried before? I know I don't have any and the most plush I have in the Cobra line is their Cobra Super Plush Deluxe 600.

This is a good point, it does happen at times. Doesn't bother me, though. I just really like how they feel on the paint, I don't feel like I'm Marring it at all.

I wish there was a sampler pack of cobras, DI, Chemical Guys, Pak Shak, Poorboys and any other MFs that are nice. Too many to choose from so I so back and forth constantly. Agh!

Works for me... kind of something you need to try to believe... especially works well with the large nap or fluffy microfiber towels.

Hey Bobby,

These replaced the Cobro Indigos(still a much different towel). I've been using these for a short time now. I love them! As silverfox said, they are very lightweight, this might bother some people. However, they are VERY soft and absorbent.

The MF glove trick is pretty darn cool. Ill be the first to admit when I saw it I though "oh what a waste, that cant do anything to help remove wax and you just look silly" but after trying it with Mike I was eating my words. You really are able to hold the towel much easier.

If these are the ones with rolled edges, then I agree. These are my new favorites as well. Got some on BOGO a while back, and they are high quality towels. A pleasure to use, they are actually quite plush. I use them for LSP removal and also for waterless washing. Highly recommended.

Jon,

I just went outside and tried the gloves. You're right, it really does help with these towels!

Mark..I agree completely and not only was I impressed with them because what they can do AND be as light as they are..but they do not seem to pose any surface problems with wipe downs. Great towel for the money and stays soft after washes.

I've been thinking of driving down to CG store in inglewood to check out the MF towels and the store. I will definitely check out the Monster Blues. Hopefully on my next trip down to LA.

I wasn't too impressed with them taking wax off but when I used them for waterless washes and spray waxes they did a great job. I'm glad I bought them.

Yep... I got 24 at the time. They are a very nice towel. Unbelievably soft and very absorbent.

I was excited buying 6. I couldn't imagine 24! It was a great deal.:xyxthumbs:

To remove the tags on the CG Towels that are sewn in. My wife taught me that if you a seam ripper and go into the tag, just below the edging it will cut it out. Just be careful not to get to close to the stiching. It will remove everything from just below the edging. Practice on a old one before doing a newer towel.
