The COOLEST Wash Sponge Available!

Looks like it will hold dirt and small rocks that could scratch paint.

Well I've heard the same thing about grout sponges too, especially the Aqua sponge I use and have never had an issue using it in almost years! Looking forward to seeing a review of it using a rinseless wash....or onne could be sent my way and I'll review it against my wash media of choice, the Aqua sponge!

It will hold dirt - it's designed to. Agitating the sponge against a Grit Guard Insert releases the dirt.

Small rocks should be rinsed off before you start washing the vehicle.

I'll see how well it performs as a rinseless wash sponge and report my findings. :dblthumb2:

Great, another decision! I must say it looks interesting. I might have to try one.

How does the gold foam in this compare to the blue one? I use and love the blue one for rinseless and regular washes.

Dear Nick, Mike, & Friends

I hope I remember this new sponge when there's complimentary or discounted shipping available.

I want this but I bet I'll stick with the Montana Boar's Hair Brush Plus on an extendable paint poll. With the boar's hair brush I can wash our Odyssey (not counting filling buckets, doing wheels, and drying) in about ten minutes.

I just bought two Microfiber Madness Incredisponges and haven't used one yet. I got it ready to use but when the time came to pick it out of the bucket and get busy, I backed out and used the boar's hair brush because of its extreme efficiency.

Do you never worry about potentially scratching the paint with debris? That's always held me back from using a brush on the paint. But I admit, using a big brush with a large van like that only makes sense.

Any input on how this would work with rinseless wash?

A couple posts back it was posted about an upcoming review using rinseless, I too am looking forward to it.

Dear kaiten & Friends

Yes, I'm concerned about it, but I use a foam cannon and two buckets (with a third bucket for wheels).

I probably have scratched the paint at some point, but the van is white and I can't see where I've scratched it.

The brush is presoaked by however long it takes me to do wheels, so it's soft by the time it touches the van's paint.

Plus, it's a big deal that the van is never really dirty when I wash it. I use a pressure washer to rinse it, then foam it up, rinse it again, then foam it for the soap, wash, and final rinse.

I wanted to bump this thread. Anyone use this yet? Thoughts? I have one on the way.

What happened toother reviews for this thing???

Every now and then a product makes its way to my desk that blows me away. Well, a lot of them do, but it's not everyday that the product is a chunk of foam. About two months ago, that product was the Lake Country Wash Wedge.

The Lake Country Wash Wedge is an ingeniously designed gold foam wash sponge that features cross-cut and slotted grooves for safe, effective dirt removal. Constructed entirely out of premium gold foam, Lake Country’s softest foam, the Wash Wedge pampers your vehicle’s delicate finish to ensure the paint remains swirl and scratch free after every wash. Comfort-grip neoprene foam handle makes the Wash Wedge easy to hold on to, even with soapy hands.

Two thumbs up to the guys and gals at Lake Country. :dblthumb2:

Lake Country Wash Wedge

Would you pick this over other wash mitts such as the Merino Wool Wash Mitt or Super Plush Micro-Chenille Wash Mitt?
