Complete typo! The pads are 30 mm and 50 mm. Sorry about the confusion.

Thanks Todd, I think we all greatly appreciate you taking time to respond to this thread during an extremely busy time; further testament to Rupes commitment to the detailing community.

Todd - phenomenal writeup per usual. As I mentioned many times at the booth today: motorcycles are not my thing, but this one is drop dead sexy and you guys did a hell of a job bringing this one up to the RUPES standard of shine. Certainly was a focal point for many people in the booth.

For all those asking for pricing and availability - ALL WILL BE REVEALED IN TIME. The BigFoot nano is an extremely ambitious initiative. The RUPES booth was easily the most active in the entire north hall all day (and well past closing time). I can't recall one person that picked up the nano and didn't instantly light up when they realized the implications for this design concept.

All that being said, the official release dates and prices will be released when all the details are settled. I will say this - the kit comes with a lot (tool, 2x battery, charger, corded adapter, pads, compounds, multiple movement types, brushes, abrasives, custom fit case, etc) and the estimated prices I've heard discussed make this not only a versatile tool, but one that packs a ton of value for the price!

Finally! My head is spinning thinking about all the uses. I've wanted a tool that will do all the other aspects of detailing besides polishing for a while...the fact that this can polish too is fabulous! Now I just need to actually have it in my hands.

As long as you dont forget about us here in Australia :)

This looks like an awesome machine Todd, a compact Bigfoot with everything you need in a convenient carrying case. I can see many uses with this BigFoot nano polisher. Thanks for sharing, Bravo!:dblthumb2:

Let's just say this will be about $599. That in UK pounds is £389.

Now, people from the UK will know that if the US price is $599.....we will prob be paying $599 in UK pounds, which is $921.

The question I put to rupes is WHY do us in the UK pay MORE than the ISA when these tools are made in Europe?

Please answer this question as here in England we love your products, but we feel mugged off with the price!

Looks very impressive but most importantly, useful!! Batteries kinda remind me of ones used by Makita.

Similar but different technology. 30 minute run time, 15-20 minute charge time.

Thank you for the compliments on the write up. We are just getting started.

The PE 8 is a nice machine. Sounds like you'll have 2-4 months to save up for thus one lol

LOL.

It is honestly my pleasure, on behalf of our company.

Amazing, Rupes never fell as an innovator!

Agreed, and we are just getting started. The next two years will be interesting.

Soon :)

Would never do such a thing!

My pleasure Craig!

Let's wait until we have the facts about pricing before we jump to conclusions based on assumptions. I have no idea on how the pricing structure in the UK works but I would think the best solution would to be to address to the UK reps directly. I can put you in contact if you would like?

I honestly wish I could answer this for you, but it is very far outside my area of expertise.

Bottom line (for me at least) I am getting one...probably the long neck version. IMO there is no other tool like this on the market. IMO the competition does not have a tool like this. Rupes has everyone beat on this one. All that being said, this does fill a need for everyone regardless if you use a different brand of DA. This DA/Rotary should be in everyone's arsenal.

It isn't very often my blood pressure will rise (unless I see a beautiful woman), however, this tool made my blood pressure rise!! All I can say is Santa's going to be getting me that as I sent him a wish list to the North Pole. I just hope I am on his good list!!

I was waiting out for SEMA to see if there would be a new 3 in polisher to ahem out spec the rupes mini..
This is sooo much better then a boss 3in mini ha!
Def glad i didnt buy a 75e

Think the rerelease of the bigfoot 15mm and 21 mm should have out spec'd the boss 15/21 while doing what ya did.

Was also kind if hoping to see a forced rotation cyclo or something new from cyclo with collaboration between Cyclo /Rupes

Todd,

Any video around of this thing in action? I really like the pneumatic-like depression trigger and the speed adjustment dial in that position. Looks like a lot of thought when into the ergonomics.

This is something substantial. Maybe some would call me a Rupes fanboy - but I think I just like new and innovative stuff. If you look around - there are really only a handful of companies coming out with it.

There's is nothing even CLOSE to this on the market. This is an awesome ground-up re-engineering of how small spaces can polished, prepped, and cleaned. I'd like ANYONE to say this is a copy or knock-off of ANYTHING.

This is why you all need to support companies like Rupes - that actually bring new innovations and intellectual property to the market. BOSS fans, don't worry - I'm sure China will follow, with orange copies...But by then, Rupes will be coming out with something even cooler.

Looks nice, but I'll say, let's not all fall over ourselves folks, and "hope" that the price is $599, because if it is, I won't be buying one in this lifetime.

I'm not particularly the type, who buys into such marketing of "Let's fly it up a flagpole and see who salutes" sort of pricing on a product if I feel it is not fairly priced for what it is, all marketing hype, and estatic glowing reviews aside.

Maybe I'll wait another 6 months for the "Chinese Copycat" to come out! LOL

The price has to be dead on,it's one of those tools that if its to expensive we can do without pretty cool though .

599 is to high 249 is more appealing to the masses.
