Ok, a couple weeks ago I ended up applying another coat since it had been 2 monthes since I did the 3rd coat for the hell of it and when I pulled the car outside I couldn't believe how much better the car looked. During the 2 month period I've been doing DG an TW rinseless washes and applied a couple layers of AW and my "FrankenDetailer" to the car all along but after pulling out with the 4th coat and seeing how great it looked I began to think about things. The one thing I thought about was the horrible pollen we had in the spring, did this effect the coating in some way I thought. So fast foward to this week, actually 3 days ago, I applied yet another coat and it looked great, still did before hand too. Here's where the story takes a turn, I applied #915 over the top of the coating after it cured for 1 day. Now I know what you thinking here, "why"and the answer is pretty simple, I like applying products to my car, plain and simple. I have total faith in the coating here, no doubt about it, but I'm not sure if it was the pollen we had here in the spring or what and if it was the pollen then so be it but I need to keep my car looking good, not just protected.
I know some others have reported about the coating going away after a period of time so what I'd like to hear about is your experience, in detail about how long and what happened to you. Please be specific, it will help alot of people out, trust me. There's another thread here where the guy is testing out 4 coatings, DGNCC is one of them and he had to re-apply it.
In closing I do plan on applying a good coat going into the winter for sure, no doubt about it but I could be swayed based on what I read here, I do have #476 in my collection if need be. For the record, I have 5 coats of DGNCC on the car right now.
Thanks for your input guys/gals.
