The Other Guys Wax

Maybe he should attend a class or two at your place!! :dblthumb2:

I would kill him before the class was over

Looks to me like maybe he used a 10" wax spreader to wax that with. Unfortunately I see cars like this all the time. Bull in a china shop.

Nope all done by hand

I he doing one of the Camaro's next?

Oh you're a funny man

It's not his fault. Even if his arm is now sore from patting himself on the back.

He's never been schooled in the proper way to treat a car. It's time for you to show him how it's done.:buffing:

And your wife can talk to her daughter to make sure he's not a big dud in any other departments:confused:

Like I said I would kill him before we were done and don't you think we already tried to talk her out of the guy.

This outta make the holiday's a great time for all. Get him some Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound and Hard Shell Finish next time your out.

Speaking of holidays it looks like it snowed on the mdx.

Seriously, I can't believe anyone would leave that much behind.

Great post i needed the laugh, maybe he's heard you talk about the WOWA method and didn't realize it doesn't apply to wax.

Well, he's obviously (in a misguided way) trying to get his FIL's approval by showing that he can take care of his wife's car. If you would kill him half way through a Dubbin Detailing Class, maybe you can send him down to train with Mike Phillips...

BTW I don't think that's wax in the inside of the window seal. I think that's mold release that has bloomed, I've seen that on lots of cars (some with that bubbly look, some with a more uniform whitish film).

everytime i see this the one who applied it was attempting a nice THICK coat of wax. poor guy. let's hope he doesn't turn to AG for guidance and see this thread ; )

i always keep in mind that when i was 16 i used to wash my dad's '88 brown s-10 with windex and paper towels...at night. we've all come from somewhere.
