The thread is called post a pic of your ride as it sits...not edit your car with Photoshop to increase "shadows and "clarity".

Fair enough, at least you admitt to using image enhancing software.

Minor editing like increasing or decreasing the brightness level is fine, for example when the photo comes out too light or dark.

- By the looks of things, the previous owner may have used sticks, boxes, or simply mother nature on this paint. That will soon change.

- Unknown. Whatever the previous owner's detailer put on back in 2006 has held up very well actually, and this car will need only minor correction of sparse light swirls. Love this paint!


The funny/sad thing is, the MR2 has almost double the miles of the 300ZX. Care and maintenance means more than miles sometimes.

AP2 FTW!!! I love the AP2's design.
 
Sorry the picture's bad. I couldn't take a picture of the whole car. I didn't want to take the car out of the garage and it was dark when I took this photo anyway.

Washed on Sunday, applied Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax on Tuesday and applied AGHD tonight. Looks sweet I think.

I know that baby is shiny, it needs some light! At least you have some light in your garage, mine looks like batman's cave.
 
The garage only has a filament light at the back. I had to bring in my halogen light and unforuntately, 1 bulb blew so the lighting was a little dim.

Outdoor shots will be taken when I drive the car.

Yea I agree with cm I'm sure she's swirl and scratch free and glossy. Vtak!!!!!
 
Nah she's swirl city right now hahaha! I will detail her in March and post a detail thread for sure. Just don't have time right now. The swirls are annoying me whenever I see it.

You had a FA5? Why did you get rid of it? What mods did you have?

got rid of it cause i blew the engine twice and honda didnt wanna warranty anything anymore, and i had the 6 yr 100k extended warranty
