The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Rainy day parked at work, and a couple of bonus shots. These 2 Nissan Patrols are what a couple of our apprentice mechanics drive. The wagon is an early 90s 4.2l inline 6 petrol, rarely gets washed. The red ute is an early 2000s 4.2 inline 6 turbo diesel, this one gets washed a bit more often.

That thing looks like a 90's jeep cherrokee, they were dogs when ya stuffed 33's or larger under them but always looked good and clean or caked with mudd

There was also a Ford Maverick version of this generation of Patrol, in return, Ford badged Falcon Utes for Nissan simply called the Nissan Ute.

Hey...when your driving through the restricted zone and you don't have a couple hooligans to jump on a rolling gas station and siphon gas, you've gotta carry alot extra

Do you have a block heater or battery mat (or both) for your car?

-13 is a pretty hard start without some help

Klasse, it looks like you did a rinseless wash right before that picture. And you’re making all the cars parked near you look really bad. Good thing I’m not parking next to you, mainly because I’d refuse if we were closer. :)

No, that was w/ the windchill. I do have a remote starter via my cellphone and a 3 week old 0w30 synthetic oil change though

I finally had time to fully polish and seal the beast! The paint was extremely contaminated from when my sister had it, so I clayed it Speed Master clay towel which left a ton of marring, polished it Perfect Finish and Rupes Yellow pad, sealed it with Polish Angel Master Sealant, and topped that Cosmic Spritz. It definitely glows now!

Random pic, not car related but will be appreciated nonetheless. My g/f took me here for my birthday, a couple friends met us there too. A long time employee there whom I haven't seen in a while saw me, we chatted and caught up and before I left he gave me a hat, very cool

Half slab of baby backs w/spicy bbq sauce, vinegar based slaw, cornbread, mac-n-cheese and peach cobbler, washed down with Coca-Cola! My buddy's wife made a cake for me/us too, gave the leftover cake to the crew working that shift

That right there, class f'n act!! Giving staff there the cake, huge props sir!!! So many people look past worker in service as not even there. So when people take such an easy thing like that, it shows big respect. And it's the simple things like that that count. I ALWAYS go out of my why to 'please/thank you/yes-no sir-maam/have a great day/appreciate all your help', etc when interacting with anyone. Not sure if it lifts a person's day alot, but I always want them to know they are noticed and not just a number.
