Don't take it as me not liking the 911, rather its more of an indication of how we get ripped off in this country. And it's not nessarily limited to Porche or high end brands. Can anyone tell me why a base model Honda Civic or VW Golf is a $40,000 proposition? Or why a well optioned Mustang GT will give you little change out of $100,000.

Actually, this was something that was discussed extensively yesterday at the paint correction workshop, as in how certain brands are ripping off Australian customers for products and tools that sell at a fraction of the cost elsewhere in the world. And that includes brands like Rupes, Koch Chemie, Meguiar's, Turtle Wax..................................doesn't mean the brand or products are bad, but the companies responsible for the importation and distribution are putting on massive markups and pricing themselves out of contention, and frankly, that's bad for both the customer and the distributor in the longer run.

A Golf R and Civic Type-R cost about $45K here, probably $80K down by you guys, crazy but maybe voting different people in would help

We’re at a 4° windchill over here on the SE side of the state. Too cold for even the DIY coin op. You’re a mad man if you do a wash! But the truck does look great!

A week from today, December 11th, I will have owned this car for 10-years!

I've spent the last two days giving the paint a little refresh via a light polish and an application of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant.

Is that AuD$? If so $100’000AUD is about 64k US. A well optioned GT is about that price here. With performance and note pony package…
