Someone knew what they were doing when they spec'd that car!And while I was sitting watching the rain, my neighbour brought this home, 911 Carrera T, it's a dealer demo. He took me for a run around the block. The acceleration, the grip, and the sound, in the wet, I've never experienced anything like it.

Don't take it as me not liking the 911, rather its more of an indication of how we get ripped off in this country. And it's not nessarily limited to Porche or high end brands. Can anyone tell me why a base model Honda Civic or VW Golf is a $40,000 proposition? Or why a well optioned Mustang GT will give you little change out of $100,000.
I get the exchange rate but damn, is it THAT much

A Golf R and Civic Type-R cost about $45K here, probably $80K down by you guys, crazy but maybe voting different people in would helpDon't take it as me not liking the 911, rather its more of an indication of how we get ripped off in this country. Actually, this was something that was discussed extensively yesterday at the paint correction workshop, as in how certain brands are ripping off Australian customers for products and tools that sell at a fraction of the cost elsewhere in the world. And that includes brands like Rupes, Koch Chemie, Meguiar's, Turtle Wax..................................doesn't mean the brand or products are bad, but the companies responsible for the importation and distribution are putting on massive markups and pricing themselves out of contention, and frankly, that's bad for both the customer and the distributor in the longer run.
Thanks...it is a reflection and not snow stuck to the sideGreat reflection on that truck, Bosko.
That's the plan! That XR8 still looks brand new 10 yrs on, I can't see that one or the blue one ever leaving your ownership️

Correct, $100k AUD.Is that AuD$? If so $100’000AUD is about 64k US. A well optioned GT is about that price here. With performance and note pony package…
