Correct, $100k AUD.

Yeah that’s same hear 60-65K. for a well equipped GT premium.

There’s a place in the US called Lebanon Ford that sells a supercharged non premium for 49k. Keeps factory warranty. Thinking if I should do this with performance package…

Actually this was one of 19 shots I took, playing around with lighting, and it just so happened that a car with HID lights went by and caught the driveway at just the right angle, and I have multicoloured LED strip lights in the garage, I'm enjoying green at the moment.

Hmmm, that's a interesting proposition.

I paid $59,000 for my XR8 ten years ago, which has a supercharged Coyote, a screaming deal back then compared to what that spend would buy you here today. Put it this way, that XR8 makes 335 kW / 449 hp (375 kW / 500 hp on over-boost). Ten years later, I paid $96,000 for a Mustang with 345 kW / 462 hp (obviously without over-boost), so I only get a 10 kw upgrade for an additional $37k spend. $59K these days would only just get you into a Golf GTi.

Ok, enough ramble, the S650 with a supercharger........................

I would absolutely do the Performance Pack for a couple of reasons -

- I know most change out the wheels, but the PP brings wider wheels and tires front and back over a non-PP Mustang GT. If you don't plan on changing wheels, you will need that extra width on the rear with a supercharger. Considering the $5295 cost of the PP, you would spend most of that on the brake upgrade alone.

- While all GT's now come with Brembo calipers, the Performance Pack takes that to another level, basically the Darkhorse 6-piston front calipers and 4-piston rear calipers, just without the fancy two-piece rotors of the Darkhorse. Again, with a supercharger, you want the big brakes. Personally, I think they are a highlight of the car.

- You also get a better chassis tune with a K-brace, heavy duty front springs, larger rear anti-roll bar, and specific calibrations for the stability control, EPAS and ABS. And a Torsen diff.

If it were me, I would also be adding the Active Exhaust for $1595, unless of course you plan on going full aftermarket. It's a pity Magneride is not offered on the base GT, its a really nice thing to have. Oh, I'd do the $600 red or blue brake calipers.....................and $495 for the red seat belts. :ROFLMAO:

Geez, I wish we could spec Mustang's like that! While the car I eventually got was pretty close to what I wanted, I would have loved to got the red seat belts, Carmine Red interior and a rear spoiler.

I guess a full foam + 2B wash is coming up. This was the result of 10 minutes of rain with a gusting wind. The Qashqai has soft paint so I wouldn't do a RW on something like this.PSX_20241207_175622.jpgPSX_20241207_175721.jpg

Nice, looks stock. Was the $9000 what it eventually sold for? The earliest year here was 2011, but with similar mileage they're going for $30-32k. And I paid $32k for mine 8 years ago.
Yeah...$9K was the final price

Whoa, how many miles? Always wanted one…

I'm not sure they even mentioned it, they were too busy calling the 4.0L a "little V6", it's a hard listen to the hosts of these auctions

Beat me by 40 seconds! Lol. I’d say that’s a good buy without knowing further details.

In the pictures it does look very clean, the only modification appears to be an after market head unit. The one thing I would say, the earlier models had less power, I think they were down by about 30-40 HP.
