The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

On the way home I saw my twin, so I pulled in to snap a couple pics. The hood on the other one looked like a solar system with the route the planets make going around the sun

Hopefully I don't offend anyone with my comments as I seemed to have recently but why do Corvettes bring out WT at carshows? As you can clearly see that $60K base price brings out amateur hour but atleast the Turbo S saves the day here

Those Corvettes. Some say corvette owners are just trying to make up for what is lacking in another department... kinda like shorter folks driving around lifted trucks

I've heard that too but I don't buy into any of it, you've got what you've got I just don't get the lack of taste and "over doing it" with Corvettes at shows, this I DO buy into because I've seen it. What I don't see is gawdy Porsches around but I do see tracked Porsches and driven Porsches though Going from the garage to carshow so people can bow down and then back to the garage doesn't count, plus the cars are never detailed. This show I was at had the largest collection of dirty tires and wheels I've ever seen, is Bleache White allergic to people, wheel cleaner too I saw brown lettered tires too, don't recall that ever being a thing

I dont nessisarily buy into what i said either, i was just making a little joke about those distasteful vetts lol. I almost feel as though some of the ppl that buy those types of cars are buying them for the look at me...look at me kinda thing.

It makes sense cuz like you said they're dirty and possibly a bit neglected.. they may not be proud of the actual vehicle so much that they want to show off their detailing cleanliness skills. Just proud to show off that hefty price tag.

Just my observation, obviously not the case for all

Alls good lol, just having some fun this morning. Those are Centerline Cobras. They are about 26 years old now and a pain in the rear to keep polished. I saw alot of what you were discussing at a fun show a few weeks ago. I saw numerous cars not even washed and a guy trying to clean his brand new car with a shop rag and a bottle of water. I usually keep a bug out bag with ceramic speedshine, glass cleaner and some plush microfibers and offered to help him but got the proverbial " no thanks I know what im doing face"

Try Never Dull and Glass cleaner

Those tire letters where cool 5 years ago..... too each their own.

Color combo on the Porsche is sick.

Putting super car owners to shame Roger :coolgleam:
...and they have no excuses, they can afford for weekly maintenance washes

I'm just doing the best I can with whatever I happen to be driving at the time

Thanks for the compliment Monica

While walking to my daughters dance class I spotted this 68' 4-4-2. It had the rare fluted exhaust tips and even more rare 4 spd
