Dang pole is in the way but oh well. Lol.

Moved the FJ back outside after some wheel work. Qashqai goes back inside, it desperately needs a wash, but it's not getting done till I have the time, and the weather is right. Committing to the principle, it will be done properly or not at all.

Heading to Germany in about 5 weeks for a work trip. Just so happens we are about 30 mins from the Porsche museum in Stuttgart and the Wednesday is a national holiday (can’t work) so we are going to plan to visit. I’m a GT3 fan myself

Quick edit to help do the car and you some justice. Not perfect but much better than that pole. LOL!

Wow I’m impressed.Lol

Makes me wonder… What if the pole was hiding a huge scratch, would the scratch appear once the pole gets edited out? If so, how the heck would the camera have known about the scratch?

C'mon Eldo, if that happened, TTQ would have polished out the scratch for you before he posted the picture.

You know what, you’re wrong! Lol.
There actually is a scratch right there. Worst scratch on the entire car. Lol.

I see, you strategically placed the pole. But it's ok, I told you TTQ would polish it out of the picture for you, so it all worked out in the end. Except for the pole, who had to be sacrificed.

EDIT: Wait a minute...did you Photoshop the pole into the picture to hide the scratch? If that's what you did, I understand your confusion when TTQ edited out the pole and the scratch wasn't there because he polished it out.

I didn’t, I swear. lol.

I actually had to walk outside to confirm that’s where the scratch actually was when I took that picture just now. It’s a trip what a coincidence it turned out to be because when I 1st made the comment about “what if” I hadn’t even thought of the actual scratch really being there. Lol.

What’s the game plan for polishing the scratch?

It’s a little deep gouge. Scratched all the way down to bare metal. I’ve actually learned to live with it and it doesn’t really bother me but if I did decide to fix it the gouge would remain.

It’s not crazy deep to the point where it looks like a dent from 5ft. away, but it’s there.

Be careful of possible rust formation if it’s down to the bare metal

It’s not hooey. Lol.

As I said in my edit you may have missed above, I think you Photoshopped the pole into the picture to hide the scratch, then were surprised when TTQ took the pole out and the scratch wasn't there, because he polished it out.

You should really put some touchup in there. I have a chip that I have procrastinated about touching up, that has now started to rust. No more buying touchup from PaintScratch, they put it in plastic bottles and it just dries up.

Enjoying the restoration of my internet connection this afternoon. I’ve got six windows open and I’m posting in all of them

Hmm. Don’t scare me now… Maybe I’ll do something about it now that you’ve probably jinxed it.lol.

A couple of months ago I literally backed into a street sign pole in a parking lot… It was dark and the pole was already bent like it had been hit before, but I nailed it pretty hard and I was pi***. I drove all the way home before being able to check it and fortunately it didn’t cause any damage. My guess is because it was already bent maybe it only hit the bottom of my bumper. I was surprised because I hit it pretty hard. I got lucky.
