The Slickest Sealant

4 star. Has that soft/silky feel you get from a nice wax but lasts muuuch longer. Thanks to joining this forum I learned about this great sealant. I never would've even looked at 4 star products if it wasn't for AGO.

Jetseal 109 is awfully slick in the sense of towels and things sliding off it. I don't care about physical slickness one whit, myself.

Wow! Thank you all for your replies. I appreciate it. I was referring to the slickness of touch. I'd love to hear from more of you on this, it's great! You guys don't disappoint, you're awesome!

new formula liquid souveran is the slickest, makes you want to ice skate on your cars paint and glide it so slick

4* UPP

-End Thread-

I am with Troy on this one. Probably one of the slickest and easiest sealants to use. Better hold onto your buffing towel pretty tight cause it will literally fly off the car. :dblthumb2:

I'll be honest with you guys, I'm surprised. I thought there would be a lot more people that would recommend BFWD. You guys have got me curious about the Duragloss Track Claw. Do you think that the Track Claw has already been surpassed in it's polymer formulation given it's age?

I honestly didnt like bfwd when i tried it a couple times. Harder to remove, separates in the bottle too.

Incomparable to power lock IMO.

Haven't used Powerlock, but I've heard great things.

Between WGDGPS and BFWD though, Blackfire gets my vote for slickness. WGDGPS for looks.

I have used BFWD, WGDGPS, PowerLock, 4* UPP, Klasse SG, BFCS, WGDGLS, UPGP

IMO although these are all slick when applied 4* UPP is the top. But the durability is not quite as good.

No love for Blackfire Crystal Seal, or even Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal? Gotta' love the WOWA for both gloss, slickness and ease of installation.

I have both the WOWO versions of BF and WG as well and they are pretty darned slick, but not as slick as the WOWA variants.

I still like Megs M21 2.0 (polycharged). Turns a great sealant into a world class sealant!

Wow, looks like Wolfgang Deap Gloss Sealant takes the cake here...
Need to try some of that.

I've had 2 samples of this stuff and I love it, really, really easy to use and the results are stunning! I'm a DG guy and love #111 and its right there too, along with BFCS for WOWA useage, both great! I bought Ultima over the winter and I'm looking forward to trying it out, I like to try new stuff, well new to me anyways but BFCS is absoltely awesome, flashes in 45 minutes and allows you to top quickly if you'd like to or apply a 2nd coat if you want to.

Thank you all! Could you tell me what WOWA is? I've never seen the term used. I'm kind of new to this.

Powerlock is in a class of its own. It is slicker than Wet Diamond, Reload or Hydr02.

It's a darn good sealant.
IMO it's hard to beat.
Also the DP Poli-coat Glossy Paint Sealant is another good one.

I find the Wolfgang Paint Sealant to be the slickest one over all.

Good to know...

How would this compare to something like OptiSeal?
I've been sealing my vehicles with Zaino Z-CS and then switched over to Optimum's Optiseal..

Can anyone chime in on this?
I'm curious about the durability, ease of use, shine, etc.

OOS (Opti OptiSeal) is very easy to use. But I didn't find it to be overly slick. I found durability to be average @ 2-3 months. It did give a decent "wet" look shine for me, but it is really "splitting hairs".

I find that most people, even us OCD people would find it hard to really see a difference between different sealants even on the same paint if you striped off one and applied a new one.

If you want to stick with WOWA sealant try BFCS or WGDGLS. Both are even easier to use than OOS and look slightly better IMO. But once again it is hard to really tell difference. I applied all 3 to the same panel side-by-side to see for myself.

4* UPP may not have the durability of some but it is the most "nuba glow" like sealant i have used. And I have used BFWD, WGDGPS, PowerLock, 4* UPP, Klasse SG, BFCS, WGDGLS, UPGP, plus others....
