Someone mentioned that they're moving warehouses, maybe keeping things light for the move?
Definitely unfortunate the radio silence though.

I'm going to go regardless - if they post one, which I bet they will.
As odd as it might sound, he's been a huge presence in my professional derailing life, and even before then. I actually miss the guy. It just wasn't the same for me, even with the mighty 3D. The idea of having him join Bob McKee once again just feels right.
I told Mike on one of his FB posts that if they post a forum I'll ditch the dlc95 and go by my name! Haha!

while i'm grateful for this forum and many of the good people on here, i don't see how this benefits PBMG anymore. new releases/brands (which many talk about on here) are nearly non-existent and AG is falling behind compared to places like detailed image, autoality, etc. it would be nice to see some sales (free shipping/low flat rate/25% off/BOGO, etc.) like back in the old days when bob owned it. the truth is they are losing a lot of sales as members (and lurkers) on here are buying elsewhere. also, no word from the new owners since they bought out PBMG on addressing anything. no write-ups, reviews, giveaways, etc...

Unless I missed something, that's not really true. As I remember it, ownership changed in 2016 or so; things soldiered on pretty much as usual for several years after that. I guess things started to change when they were forced to move out of Stuart, I guess that was the time Mike and Yancy departed, then after the move Meghan left, and they decided to close up the Florida operation entirely. So I'm not disagreeing with your premise, just that it's more recent than "since they bought out PBMG".

you haven't been on here regularly and have noticed the change then. since the ownership change there hasn't been any free shipping sales (no minimum). yes, i know shipping costs but sometimes even a low flat rate ($3-$5) with 25% off would happen from time to time before. things have changed and it hasn't been for the better. i know many members on here feel the same way. just voicing an opinion so it can be heard and thought of. 2024 is a new year and hopefully some things change...

WTH Happened to the store? I used to enjoy placing a big spring order about now. Products have been dropped and hardly anything in stock! Will be using another source for my order this year.

I feel your pain. My first year detailing I exclusively bought from AG but I've had to move on to Detailed Image. The stuff I need is never in stock so I had to move on.

I apologize, I've bought so much over the years I rarely buy any detailing supplies (other than I can't seem to stop sampling microfiber towels from TRC/AF), so I really don't pay attention to the sales anymore, and latched on to the second part of what you were saying and thought you were talking about the more recent stuff like being out of stock on everything, forum not working right, moving the fulfillment center and not announcing it, etc.

without giving constructive criticism, one can never make adjustments in areas that are needed (little things can make a big difference). with the economy the way it is these days, every dollar counts in keeping a business a float and/or with a regular/repeat standing customer. so many different alternatives these days for the consumer to choose from. a lot of new/different brands talked about on the forum as well. there's always the would of, could of, should of, when it's already too late...
