I'd like to see how it would have held up to the 15+ inches of "torrential" rain we had in my area since Saturday if it was sitting outside. Now that would be a great test.

I put WETS on one side of my Rogue's trim a month or so ago and McKees' on the other side. McKee's lost the durability test big time to WETS.

McKee's is history and WETS is still hanging in strong. And it was out in this rain and summer weather.

Sorry, but I don't have the time or motivation to take pics of it. I had a pretty good idea when I applied them based on the viscosity of the two produtcs which one was going to come out ahead and I was right. McKee's is thinner and I used more product to cover the same amount of trim than the WETS, like twice as much.

I have a 05 avalanche and did my trim 2 years ago with Tuff Shine trim restore with the clear coat. It has just started to fade. I cleaned the trim with my GG6 and a brush attachment with the Tuff Shine tire cleaner first. 2 coats of the restore then 2 clear. Im very surprised that it doesn't get talked about more. Great product

Yes, my Jeep's plastic does not accept the Ardex (or any trim solution) nearly as good as this Ava did.

Have not ever tried UTTG but i just ordered some up to give it a whirl. WETS has always been my go to.

Solution Finish or another one that doesn't get much love is Meguiars aerosol trim restorer. I removed my windshield cowl in the spring and used it and its held up awesome! Only downside is that if you are restoring trim that can't be removed then it's wise to bag/mask off the whole car before spraying because the overspray can be a pita to remove. But it does legit work.

Would be curious to see how PTR works compared to DG 271, Pentrol, or hydrocarbon/solvent based trim restorers. I would guess they're all similar. Maybe PTR has some magic going on the others don't? If anybody the PTR wants to do a side-by-side let me know and I'll send some of the other two. Or vice-versa.
