It's silver and would look exactly like this(minus the front license plate). I think it looks great! Opinions....

Great retro-look!! Mark...with one caveat:

Unless these are painted-on stripes (my favorite!)...
...How do you plan to maintain these: Vinyl Decals/Stripes?

(I've seen/read many threads here on AGO's forum concerning this issue.)

BTW...I've always considered California as one of the top areas (hot-bed) in the Country for:
"Customizing/Customizers", including 'paint-specialists'.

Just saying.

Hello my friend, I'd be putting on vinyl stripes. I really think the stripes give the car more character! :dblthumb2:

I'd maintain the vinyl stripes with Gtechniq silo seal sealant. Directions say it's great for matte finishes.

my next door neighbor has the exact same combination and it looks awesome!

What do I think?? I think you're itching to have another car already, LOLOLOLOL. It's like asking your gf to wear a wig :p

Stripes are a FOR SURE on the newer Mustangs, not sure if I like the "chaser" stripes that run on the outer edges though, its different though. Now Mark, would your stripes be a metallic lookin' vinyl or would you go with a matte vinyl like you see on cars that are wrapped? I guess it comes down to the color of wheels you plan on running too, something to think about. You know what else might look good, some carbon fiber vinyl'd stripes, modern and classic look.......together!

Mark I think it's a great addition to a silver car, it dresses it up giving contrast to the silver and looks racy....:props:

Do it!

Sounds good my Friend!!

Your Mustang will, indeed, look like its namesake!!

I know the majority think the strips look better than none BUT I like the clean look better myself.
If they are vinyl strips your considering, you can always take them off when you get tired of them.

Mark,
I personaly might not go for the strips but that is the great thing about customizing. Have you considered going with CarbonFiber black stripes or even going Red? Red stripes with red caliper accents would be different and cool.

I will go against the crowd and say no .... its not that it wont look good, but that everyone with a Mustang seems to have stripes currently.

I like the classic style stripes on it. Gives it a little more of an old school look. I had the same dilemma. I figured I would wait until I started getting that new car itch then put them on...maybe it would scratch that itch for a year or so. O f course what do I know I drive a "big pig" with a "hideous interior" lol
