Thinking of buying a cheap rotary, questions..

Tip for all you people looking to buy a Makita, eBay friends. $189.00 shipped with the bag and starter pads. At least now you have a pad spinner. I need to give wool pads another shot. I just don't like sling.
When you learn to pick a bead of product you really have very little sling. At one of Mike's classes he had students picking bead for the first time and it was also there fist time using a rotary.I'm pretty sure there is some video's around showing that.

Local HF in Melbourne FL had a New Years Day promo giving 20% additional off on a single item. A rotary for $24.00!! I even popped an extra $10.00 for the 2 year replacement warranty.

The one I have is different than the orange one they sell. I got it as a gift, and it doesn't seem to have the same issue of bogging down. It's the digital one which is red and has an LCD read out of the rpms. Not sure if im allowed to link to the buffer, but it's model number 66615-1VGA. I've been playing around with it on my spare hood.
