Good dialog... I'm pretty new to the Menz line, and this past weekend applied PO83Q and PO106FA with a DA. Have no idea how many passes I made; I would bet between 6 and 10 each time. The results are great.
Anyway, in trying to determine when the polish had 'dried', I kept using my finger to see whether the polish would still smear. I tended to think if it would smear it was not dry, but the polish never seemed to really not smear even when I'm sure I had completed breaking down the polish. Is that what you guys experience, too?
A few times it would dust, but only near corners or edges I was polishing.
The pics that kronos posted does seem pretty similiar to what I was seeing, too.
Edited: Oh, and it was always a pain in the azz to wipe off the polish afterwards. Is that an indication I did not work it dry enough? Or is that just something to deal with?
its likely an indication that you worked it too much imo. A damp MF towel always helps as well. you want to be careful not to scratch the car with toweling marks. Since Menz is waterbased, I always figured a damp towel works best to remove it (although that works with any product. lol)
