It says to use 1 or 1.5 ounces per 32 ounces of water. Anyone have a preference?

I use between 2 and 3 Mark, probably closer to 3. It give the solution just a little more lubrication.

That's what they recommend for the QD dilution. I've always wondered why they didn't just state to use the same dilution for a QD and clay lube? Some say you don't want a clay lube too slippery?

That's how I understood it. If it is too slick then the clay can't effectively pick up contaminants.

I'd say too slippery isn't good either but this works well for me. What I can tell you Mark it isn't a slick as some of the detail sprays I've tried in the past while claying and they always worked.

Just food for thought.

I'm with Bobby on this, I use roughly 2.5-3oz for 32oz of water. It works with the 1-1.5oz but for cars that have been neglected (and I had a lot of them this summer), the higher lubrication really helps and I don't think it effects the actual effectiveness of clay.

I agree with Bobby as well. QD dilution (8oz per gallon/2oz per 32oz) works great.

I do same as Bobby, but with ONR.
The only product I have tried that was too slick was UWW+ mixed as directed, i.e., 0.5 oz per 22 oz. This result made feel even better about using UWW+ as a wash media!
