So Sat morning Tidy dropped off his Peugot 207 Gti off with me for some detailing love.
First up were the wheels and wheel wells
Rinsed off loose dirt with HP washer
Sonax wheel cleaner sprayed on and left to work for a minute. Agitated with various brushes
Rinsed wheels using HP washer
Clayed using Meguiars Clay + Meguiars QD
Waxed using Smartwax Rimwax
Tires dressed with Meguiars Endurance Tire gel
The tools
Wheels before
Wheels during
Wheels after
Total time spent on wheels = 2:15
Next up was the washing of the car
Firstly the badges, door jambs and boot jamb were sprayed with APC and which was left to dwell and then agitated, before being rinsed off.
Loose dirt was then rinsed off using a HP washer
Car was sprayed using the foam cannon containing a mix of Maxi Suds and APC (to help strip any existing wax etc)
The foam was left to dwell before being rinsed off.
Car was then washed using the 2 bucket method, with a chenille wash mitt and a mix of Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo.
Car was then rinsed and dried

Other random before's
Before
During
What the 'shampoo' water looked like after finishing
What the 'rinse' water looked like after finishing
Total time spent washing/drying = 0:50
Next up it was time to clay the car
The tools
The clay bar was cut in half
And then rolled out into a 'patty'
And after claying 1 panel
This is what it looked like
There were a lot of bonded contaminants on the paint resulting on a lot of time being spent on the claying process.
Total time spent claying = 3:35
....more to follow shortly...
