Tire Dressing Recommendations

It does help and thanks

I actually added CarPro Perl to my cart. Thanks to Roshan's video, I am also a big CarPro fan and your guy's suggestions.

CarPro PERL. Durable and you can dilute it to your liking as far as shine. Obviously, the more u dilute it, the less durable it will be

Currently using Chemical Guys New Car High Shine, both for interior and tyres. Very good product. Two layers last, until enough to me next wash. Which is usually every 2 weeks. I have not tried Carpro Perl to compare, but looking forward to it.

Quick question here, can you dilute it 1:2 for example and put it in a sprayer? Or is too thick? Thanks!

I have only use opti bond and love it. I bought the gallon size and very little is used per application. It also works on trim.

This thread deserves a poll! That is, if this forum supports it.

Good stuff so far!

Another good on is Lucas tire shine. Water based doesn't sling and lasts a long time. Its also around $7.

Hello everyone, I am building my cart for my next AG order and I am stuck on which tire dressing to choose and was hoping for everyone's help.

My main concern is that it doesn't sling.
2nd would be durability.
3rd I do like the "shiny" look so that is also on my list.

I have these in mind

Optimum Opti Bond Tire Gel

Ultima Tire Trim Guard

Chemical Guys VRP Tire Dressing

I called AG customer service and they said between those 3 to go with Ultima. They also recommended

Pinnacle Black Onyx

http://www.autogeek.net/pin-802.html

Also I would like to buy a gallon but have been considering buying all 3 of the smaller sized to test them all out :D

Thanks everyone for reading and your help.

CG VRP is not as shiny as CG G6 Hypercoat. IMO G6 is better than VRP

Art - another vote for Perl. I was a dedicated VRP user, but have switched over to Perl after trying out a sample bottle. Not super shiny, but you can increase the shine with a second coat, easy to apply, and will give you a couple weeks of durability. Seems to last pretty well after getting wet, but don't have much experience with that here in drought land socal.

I''ve found that topping a combo of dressings works best from my experience.

You get the best of everything. Haven't tried tuff shine yet though.

Another vote for CG VRP. I use it on customer's tires and go around and dress the exterior plastics as well. Like people are saying...you can't beat the price and a little goes a long way!

Megs hyper dressing is great. Just got it last week made 3 different bottles 1&1, 3&1, and 4&1. The 1&1 was great for tires 4&1 was great for engine dressing and exterior trim.
