Just an innocent question, I always worked at a body shop indoors. Or garages, so was wondering if the temperature of the panels, would affect the product.
The shop I worked at was around 110 F degrees and up outside.
(Memory is a bit messed up)
But from what I do remember, they painted the car, then in the spray booth they turned up the oven (don't know the name)
After they would let the car sit outside in the sun to continue to heat the paint.
Then once done, I would step in and wet sand, buff, wash do the interior exterior detail.
But once the car was inside, we would let it sit inside the shop to cool down. Because it was literally boiling hot to the touch, hot enough that if water landed, it would evaporate and leave water spots.
(Don't remember to much, but that is what I remember)
