Too Much Sun and Too Hot....Help

What do you mean? Even hot surfaces can be worked in the sun. The only thing you will find in heat is the working times of some products is reduced. I would love to hear any evidence from anyone who actually works in the sun to prove that it is harmful in any way.

Just an innocent question, I always worked at a body shop indoors. Or garages, so was wondering if the temperature of the panels, would affect the product.

The shop I worked at was around 110 F degrees and up outside.

(Memory is a bit messed up)

But from what I do remember, they painted the car, then in the spray booth they turned up the oven (don't know the name)

After they would let the car sit outside in the sun to continue to heat the paint.

Then once done, I would step in and wet sand, buff, wash do the interior exterior detail.

But once the car was inside, we would let it sit inside the shop to cool down. Because it was literally boiling hot to the touch, hot enough that if water landed, it would evaporate and leave water spots.

(Don't remember to much, but that is what I remember)
 
Working on a hot (to the touch) surface makes working time on may products near zero (at least in my experience) so it would be in your best interest to get a canopy or find shade somewhere to bring down the surface temperature of the car to make the products more workable. Heat can also change the way the product works and may give you results you really don't want (extreme difficulty in removal, swirls and holograms etc).

Have never experienced the heat changing how a product works. It will be hard to remove if you don't quickly remove it but other than that no real difference.
