Top 5 beers!

Haven't had any alcoholic beverages in over 21 years now. But back in my drinking days I usually warmed up with a quart, or two, or more, of beer before i hit the hard stuff. Here's what I sometimes downed (I had to remind myself: This was when I first started drinking almost 50 years ago):

1. Carling Black Label
2. Wiedemann's
3. Hudepohl 14-K
4. Burger Beer
5. Schoenling's (Little Kings Creme Ale)
6. Stroh's
7. Blatz
8. Pabst Blue Ribbon
9. Schlitz
10.Genesee
11. Old English 800 (OE8)
12. P.O.C. (Pride of Cleveland...or...Piss of Cleveland.. LOL)
13. Falls City
14. Old Frothingslosh

Sorry, (this is more than five, I think so, I guess), but the countin' side of my brain sometimes goes on the fritz. And on, and on, and on, the list could go....Nary a wonder I'm still alive! :D

Hey Ted,
The brewery is about 8 hours away but there are select restaurants and dive bars that offer them. They are nearly impossible to find at grocery stores even 8 hours away. I called the distributors once and they said that they dont ship out to too many places because the beer always has to be cold and they have expiration dates. One of these days I plan to take a trip up and try all of their beers. Very good stuff.

I know Pliney the Elder and Pliney the younger do quite well on beeradvocate.com. Wish the brewery could expand; I went to their site and it seems they have a lot of trouble keeping up with demands, even in surrounding areas. Must be some damn good beer if it's that hard to keep up with.

If it was sold in stores it would probably be my most favorite beer. Even here I have to play a game of luck to find them. And when I do find some I shell out about $9 to $12 dollars a bottle. If I could I would ship you one. Unfortunately since the bottles are sold in restaurants and bars I am not able to buy them and take them home. I tried doing that once and was unsuccesful. But it makes sense why they would not let people take them.

I guess Im poorer then most of you guys. I like cheap beer,Miller High Life, Miller Lite , and Miller G. Draft. Bud Lite , and Coors.
