Has anyone used a tornador on leather? Also, what cleaners and dressings have you used and what dilutions? Thanks .

I've used it on leather. It's works awesome. I have never used anything but water in it though.

Should I?

The product description calls for the Tornador enzyme cleaner to be mixed with water. AG is sold out of the enzyme so if I order the Tornador, I want to know what else will work.

I like to use the Pinnacle Leather Cleaner/conditioner on leather that isn't more than mildly dirty/worn. I am sure OPC 3:1 as leather cleaner is going to come. It is safe and powerful and cost effective. Leather Master cleaner is effective, but can pull dye off worn leather if rubbed; directions state not to rub. I always go with a cleaner/conditioner first, then go with a cleaner if need-be.

what size tank does the compressor have that you currently use? looking at buying the tornador soon.

I have a 60 gallon compressor with something like 20cfm @ 90psi.

I don't know what the specs are for it, but I obviously have no problems.

I use my tornador all of the time for leather and it works great. I either use Meguiars APC or OPC at 3:1 depending on how dirty the leather is and the color.

As always, do a test spot.

Thanks for the feedback. OPC at 3:1 is what I had planned to use.

Good grief. That's what I call a compressor. I have a 27 gallon with 5.8 at 90 ordered to be delivered next week. I have the Tornador blow gun and my small compressor struggles with it. I am ordering the Tornador Black and should have plenty of power. I need help from those with experience for uses, products that work and tips. Thanks for the replies.

I use Meguiars APC dlitution depends on how the job will be
a 3:1 / 4:1
I use also Simple green APC / also works great / and good price!!!

I put my air compressor at around 115psi / so every time I pull the tornadors trigger, it gaves me 100psi sharp

I know recomendations says use at 90psi / but it gets to low the air pressure. Doesn't work as well, I did my test with the 115psi, and works more than good!!!
been using my Tornador like this for over a Year know. No problems!!!

Sounds like I should start using more than water!

Although my process so far has been tornador w/ water to loosen up the gunk on the leather. Then I go ahead and clean with APC+ 15:1.

Seems to work great, but if I can speed the process up that is great.

you can use any dressing for the last step as well make sure you wipe with a micro fiber looks amazing....

Thanks. Can't wait for my tornador black to arrive. I wonder if you can get extra jars so you can switch out easily.

Which compressor did you buy?

I bought the Craftsman Professional 27 Gallon Vertical Portable Air Compressor
Sears Item# 00916474000 | Model# WLB1982713

I use a soft bristled brush, a little apc, and the tornador on air to blast out the seams of the seats.

As far as using it to clean the leather...I don't think it's very useful. I mean unless your leather just literally needs a wipe...it can make spraying and wiping pretty quick. Other than that I don't use it much for leather.

That's what I have been using without the tornador. I use OPC and a small brush. I am considering using steam but a little concerned about the heat produced.
