Completed application number 7 today. Not much to report re paint. Seems the same as day # 5 and # 6.

Today, the spidery type of cracks in paint looks a bit tighter this time around. Appears that there were some swelling happening over the course in the past 6 days.

Started on the top and did a test on the seats.

Top:

1. Vacuumed the top and windows. Inside and outside.
2. Waterless wash - McKee's N914 w/ distilled water
3. Cleaned top and windows with Meguiar's Vinyl & Rubber cleaner/conditioner
4. Performed test spot on seat head rest.

Pictures:

Windows...

In picture #2 --- should see a line in the middle. The left side was cleaned with Megs vinyl cleaner and on the right of the window, still has the haze which the cleaner will remove.

Seats...

Did test spot.

Trying to post test spot on the top. Pictures are too large.

Once I figure out the resizing---Will post.

Sorry! This one is really neat. Just like the seat test spot!!

Tomorrow I will remove the # 7 with terry cloth towels.

Then will clean all the interior pieces. Seats/door panels/rear panels. etc...

Supposed to get my polish sometime on Wednesday afternoon.

WOW! Talk about 50/50's! Before/after! Great shots. That thing was just really, really filthy! Can't wait to see it after a little 205!

Damn, those 50/50's are mind blowing, Tommy.

You are kicking this things arse!!

Thanks Scott.

This process was really enjoyable. Love seeing big changes within few minutes!

Talk about instant gratification!

Thanks for this little journey you’ve shared with us. I’ve been following since day one. You could build a portfolio of 50/50’s from this car alone.

Thanks...Thought maybe I should shut up for a few days...but then, how would anyone learn anything if they don't share.

Mike and the forum got me to where I am...time to give something back whenever and however.

And to the others...

Thanks for the feedback and support! Gives me the energy to sit down and post after a long day!

I wish we could make a video that would show all our forum members how to work with pictures in the forum world.

I'm self-taught so that goes to show it can't be that hard but you do need a computer, most picture work cannot be done with a phone or tablet.

The only work-around I know of is to download the TapaTalk App and post your picture using the App.

:)

Wow what an awesome 50/50 shots on those seats. Amazing what a difference it can be :)

Thanks for shareing your work!
