Just to clarify -- are you also able to finish hologram-free on harder paints? Additionally, can SPF finish hologram-free using polishing pads? I understand that a lot of this is user-dependent, but I just wanted to hear your experience.

Euro Shine Blue and H2O Tangerine are polishing pads. Yes, I can finish hologram free on most harder paints. I have not done a soft black Porsche, so I can't say.

No problemo just don't want to see anyone get confused. Especially on the topic of fillers as this topic has been a point of confusion as far back as when discussion forums started.



Now back to the discussion about 5.5" flat foam pads.


By the way, in both my how-to books I recommend these as the best pads for anyone new to machine polishing.
