Trying/choosing new car shampoos

I have been having issues with my soap. Mr. Pink from chem guys for some reason leaves a bit of a residue when it dries. Also, I have tried maxi suds and it destroys my paint with leftover residue…Could it be my soft water causing the soap to leave a residue?? Could it just be the soap not being of high quality? I'm on the market for a good soap that won't leave behind any residue/washes completely off. Any suggestions??
Meg's Deep Crystal wash isn't supposed to leave anything behind, but is not a "premium" soap. Gold Class has "paint conditioner" that leaves a glossy surface, but cleans well.

Might want to look into Matte finish soaps. They should leave a min. of residue.

it's the most economical and it doesn't contain (iirc) gloss enhancers. just a clean soap, with outstanding value. all three soaps mentioned only require no more than 2 ounces (or less) for a bucket wash even if that. if you're looking for a wash that has more cleaning abilities, i would choose duragloss and optimum. one thing i noticed using optimum with a foam lance, it seems to dwell the longest. all three are great, you can't go wrong with any of them...

I noticed the same thing about optimum car shampoo compared to hyper wash. Both are great but I would give the edge to optimum just by a hair. Haven't used duragloss so I can't comment on that. Adams shampoo is still my top favorite car wash.

There are so many different washes, everyone may have a different opinion. Water conditions will always be a factor also.

I have always had good luck with CG Mr. Pink, Citrus Wash, and Honeydew. I have also used Wolfgang Auto Bathe and XMT which were also fine. It's nice to have them perform well, dilute well, smell nice and be relatively inexpensive. Some do the relatively inexpensive part better than others, but to each their own...

That's why AG has sales! Try what you can and find what you like!

McKees 37 xtream foam and power wash + WG uber for rinselee and waterless

I think I can live only with these 3 soaps lol

looks like cg's has another soap to add to the dozen they already have...

^what did I just see.... I have seen a few of the videos, and having several years of prehospital experience, most of the time they seem like they are on substances of some variety...
but this is a new level. You don't just get some rich french guy and not even explain...anything...
poor guy holds the pressure gun like a real gun... (at least how the French train)

Thanks for the share Visitor!

I groove on megs gold, onr for my rinseless, and have tried griots wash, but wasn't a fan..
