Turtle wax hard shell

That's interesting you say about it being
difficult to rub off as i have heard others
say the same thing.
I beg to differ.

Do you think i could just use a good quality "wash and wax" product like Meguiars and be done with it? How much protection do you think it actually offers? Cheers.
IMO:
Something like Meguiar's Ultimate Wash & Wax (G177)
can be used in between Waxing-sessions to help
maintain an LSP...but I wouldn't depend on it to
provide anywhere near the amount of protection
that an LSP will.

Hi there, Im located in New Zealand and my main local stores being Super Cheap Auto and Repco.

Is shipping from USA out of the question? Collinites are rather inexpensive, extremely durable, and you can stretch them a long way. A "bang for your buck approach".

I purchased 2 tubs of Turtle Wax Hard Shell about 2 years ago. They were on special for 4$ at the local Canadian Tire so I figured why not. The reason I purchased them was to use them on my part time job's vehicle. I did not want to spend much money on product but wanted the car waxed because it saves me a lot of time on washing it. When it's protected, all I have to do is power rinse it and it's clean enough. When it's not protected I have to actually wash it and it takes way too long.

Anyhow. I used the wax once and never again. It did offer good protection and looked decent. The issue was removing it from the paint. Oh My God! I have never worked so hard to remove wax in my entire life. That thing is like glue when it dries. If you were to use a polisher with a bonnet it might be ok, but by hand it's an exercise in endurance and patience. After doing that I got myself a bottle of Meguiar's D156 that I leave in the car and use once in a while.

I used cotton terry cloth towels to remove it. Microfiber is almost useless against it!

Can you get TW ICE spray wax . It leaves a grear shine , and is easy to use and lasts for a spray wax How about the Platinum seres in the TW line it was also very good .
