I purchased 2 tubs of Turtle Wax Hard Shell about 2 years ago. They were on special for 4$ at the local Canadian Tire so I figured why not. The reason I purchased them was to use them on my part time job's vehicle. I did not want to spend much money on product but wanted the car waxed because it saves me a lot of time on washing it. When it's protected, all I have to do is power rinse it and it's clean enough. When it's not protected I have to actually wash it and it takes way too long.
Anyhow. I used the wax once and never again. It did offer good protection and looked decent. The issue was removing it from the paint. Oh My God! I have never worked so hard to remove wax in my entire life. That thing is like glue when it dries. If you were to use a polisher with a bonnet it might be ok, but by hand it's an exercise in endurance and patience. After doing that I got myself a bottle of Meguiar's D156 that I leave in the car and use once in a while.
