Ultima WW user?

I have been using BF waterless wash and love it. But I was reading about Ultima and its a much better buy...

How do the two compare? Thoughts? pics?
 
I've used quite a few WW including BF and UWW+. These two are virtually identical so I buy Ultima cause it makes 5.5 gallons for $21.
 
I like the Ultima alot ... but roaring to try Blackfire now !
 
I have both and I like them both a lot. I really tend to use UWW+ as a rinseless wash more than anything else. I think it leaves a nice slickness behind
 
When it comes to a waterless wash I never look beyond Ultima
 
I use UWW+. Never had the need to try anything else. I tried OptiClean, but like UWW a little better, also it's cheaper.
 
I'm also a UWW+ waterless user. Can't beat the dilution ratio....sometimes I go to my old standby PB Spray&Wipe...doesn't add any protection which is fine at times.
 
UWW+ is my go too for lots of things, QD, WW, sometimes a spot interior wipe, it's just great. I have 5 of the concentrates, got them on sale for 16.99 a few months back when AG had sales on the Ultima line, such a great deal.

So if my math is right, I will make one gallon at a time. So just under 3 oz per gallon right.

This is what their ad copy states

Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ Concentrate has a measuring cup built into the bottle. Measure out 1/2 fl. oz. of concentrate and pour into the Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ 22 oz. spray bottle. Fill the bottle with water and shake well. Then simply spray the vehicle and use a soft microfiber towel to wipe in a back and forth motion. Refold and replace the towel as needed. Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ Concentrate can also be used as a quality quick detailer and clay lubricant!

You can also use Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ Concentrate as a rinseless wash. Dilute 1 fl. oz. with three gallons of water in a bucket. Soak a soft, folded microfiber towel in the solution, wring it out lightly, and then wipe in a back and forth motion over the vehicle, starting at the top. Work in 2 x2 sq. ft. sections and wipe each cleaned area dry with a second microfiber towel.
 
Thanks for the calculator, but just double checked my math on paper and 22oz to .5oz, so I guess 128 oz/22oz = 5.82. .5oz*5.82= 2.91 oz to the gallon.
I will just round to 3oz, I don't think it should cause any adverse effects.
 
I'm totally amazed...two products mentioned and almost everyone said the same thing. That has to be a first!
 
Ultima all the way... I have and still use ONR which is really a great product, but after my UWW+ arrived, well... my car just sees ultima...

My take is in regards with ONR v2, the current one is V3.

I just clayed my car this last weekend using ultima.
Tried the Sonüs Ultra Fine Clay with the UWW+ as Clay Lube and also the Elastrofoam combo with it's own lubing.
Before these I used to use a 3m claybar with ONR as Clay lube.

ONR did a good job as Clay Lube, but my 3m claybar was always sticky while claying. Truth be told, I haven't tried the 3m clay with UWW+... so I can't say if it's a ONR or Clay fault... more likely a clay fault.

The Elastrofoam combo is a lot faster, but much more aggressive.... my car's paint is very very soft and it got really marred on the sections I tried it.

The UWW+ and Sonüs Ultra Fine Detailing Claying was my choice to go..... the clay didn't sticky a thing to the paint, took everything the other 2 clays did and hasn't put a inch of marring on the paint.

It's definitivily my to go combo now when not following with a polishing step, otherwise I would go with the Elastrofoam combo.

But to correctly answer your question I must do a cross test between clays and lubes, which I didn't.... so it's up to you to take conclusions form my experience.

As for QD or WW, Ultima is incredible..... when you put it on the paper, it will be more economical if correctly used than the optimum's offering, which in the end is also a great choice.

I'll always lean to use a more concentrated product because I think it's not worth it to pay shipping to transport plain water, even because I'm from Brazil and shipping besides being very expensive is double expensive because it's always taxed too, 60% taxing.

PS: out of topic: It's not energy smart to move such a weight you wouldn't need to if only the concentrated was sold so the end user would mix it with water.... I hope manufactures drop the old thinking of big and less concentrated just to justify price. And also buyers need to stop thinking that more is better.
At least the Ultima line is sure walking on the right direction. :dblthumb2:
