Nick, I'm sure you're feeling good!!! You're getting to try a lot of different products!!! I wish I can do that before buying a wheel cleaner.
It's good to hear Sonax changed the scent.
Maybe I can send back my old bottle (woman perm scent) tfrom AG,for the new improved lemon scent
.
The old scent has to be the foulest smelling detailing product I own.
So if AG purged the old smelling Sonax wheel cleaner inventory and now carries the new "Lemon" scent,I'm thinking it will be a better seller.
I think your overreacting (IMO).
and I dont meant to be offensive.
For me personally, I would never look to return a product for its scent. I was just happy to know Sonax listened to there customers.
(yes I have used the product since it came out)

I too have the 5ltr jug. When i go out to clean the car , I fill a 16oz bottle about 3/4 of the way , and that is more than enough to clean heavily soiled wheels.
(keep in mind, I have an issue with overusing product when I have big bottles like the 5ltr)
you may be able to get away with using a good bit less for all 4 wheels.
also, VERY important, this wheel cleaner is designed to be sprayed onto DRY wheels. Do not pre-rinse your wheels first.
I have used it both ways, and its MUCH more efficient spraying it on dry wheels (like the instructions on the bottle state)
I know if seems odd and the wrong way, but trust the process and manufacturer.

bump, bring this thread back from the dead. What do you guys recommend for these wheels? Sonax or megs wheel brightener??

i think im going to order the Megs tonight. i hope it works. just bought the car with these wheels, guys took excellent care of the car, but neglected the wheels for some strange reason:doh:

Nice! I searched for a review of this stuff cause I mainly use wheel acid. And of course, I'm limited to what I can use acid on. So I wanted something good for ALL rims. Looks like I'm buying myself 5 liters of this stuff! Thanks :dblthumb2:

Do you guys use this as your main wheel cleaner for all vehicles? I find this stuff to be on the pricey side. I'm fine with the price only because I plan on still using acid since it can be diluted 5:1 and only cost $30. I'll save the Sonax for painted, aluminum, or expensive rims. :xyxthumbs:

very simple! use the ironx , few spritz , let it work , and it will remove all of it, if not after first time, repeat again and it will, some agitating will help too.
